One of the main things that Frontline documentary talks about is how no one in America gives a shit about Afghanistan. Once it was no longer an Al Qaeda training front, it ceased to be worth spending blood and treasure on.

Just the other day Assad said he'd welcome American troops in Syria as long as they were strictly there to fight ISIS. There are a lot of demands on us at a time when the American public has no taste for war.

Unless another big building explodes, we're not going anywhere.
