There is literally no medical condition that causes that. It's caused by eating thousands upon thousands of calories over what your body needs to maintain itself each day. Even with a thyroid condition, it would not cause extreme weightgain like that unless you're also eating enough to feed two people for a week every day.

It's called a grenade harpoon, although I don't believe the Japs use them as the shrapnel spoils the meat, so they just use cold harpoons. The condition is supposedly elephantiasis. Parasites block the lymphatic vessels, which causes swelling because it's not like your body stops producing lymph, which no longer has anywhere to drain.

I'm suspicious because Wikipedia says that normally causes swelling of the limbs, and that woman has swelling everywhere BUT the limbs. I'd say she's more likely victim of an oompa loompa song, except her birth weight was 11 pounds (99th percentile), which is hard to blame on poor diet, and never went down.

She's also completely immobile, so her family has to feed her. I think it'd be hard to spoonfeed ANYONE to 1100 pounds absent a medical condition, but /k/ manages it every time some fag can't figure out how to work Netflix, so maybe it's easier than I'm giving it credit for.
