Anderson M16 BCGs are $60 at Primary Arms.
Anything wrong with them?

If they're milspec they should be fine
If not then avoid it

More or less but even then, AR prices have dropped so much that even the cheap shit is unlikely to fail.

Most reviews around the internet say it's a good BCG for the price you pay, but a lot of people go with a BCM or Colt BCG instead. What advantages are there to paying >$100 for a BCG?
>>32941250
Just bought it. Thanks goy. I'm sure I just got duped by an actual primary arms guy, but it's the cheapest bcg I've seen yet.
I'd just troll around for a used colt.
However I have a bargain bin DPMS bolt in mine, I can't judge you.

BCM and Colt are known quality parts generally speaking. Colt (when their assemblers aren't sleeping) Bushmaster Armalite DPMS make tons of standardized mil-spec BCG's, some are sodl to assemblers like Spike's Tactical or whomever.

Bushhamster and DIPMS are shit tier.
>>32941800
Where is the line drawn when it comes to those exotic BCGs? I'm talking about the fancy NiB coatings and Fail Zeros, etc. Those puppies cost $200+. What exactly am I getting from them?
>>32941837
DPMS is hit or miss. If you know how to restake its not to bad.
>>32941873
Easier to clean, runs a little smoother due to less friction, less prone to wear, corrosion etc. Fancyboy points.
They're not really worth it. Buy a good quality basic bitch bolt/carrier and a spare bolt, you're set.
Effectivly no real benefit.

>>32941837
yeah, no. DPMS uses red loctite instead of staking (Stag does this too). Bushmaster has been making quality components for decades, and even before they bought the tools from Sendra, Bushmaster made accessories and small parts. Freedom groups' buyout has largely affected complete product's QC/QA, but not that of individual parts which have had production contracts for decades.

What fuck. My DPMS carrier was staked.
>>32941800
lol

halfass gimmick
get chrome if you want something good everything else is a meme

>when somebody posts your image
The plot thickens
Protip
proper torque > staked screws
Every time
Staking is insurance for torque ranges, but staking in and of itself is meaningless

Use both. Same as castle nuts.
