Here is my semiauto squirrel slayer. Brimstone tier 2 trigger and an extended bolt handle. Sights are the peep sights from the latest anniversary edition. I like that it's integrated into the rail so I can do irons or scope. Had tech sights before and it was a PITA to switch from irons to scope. Also lopped off a piece of the front where the barrel band goes. I hated that barrel band, looks gay AF.
>>
>>32929688
There's supposedly a break in period. I have way more failures unless I stay with high velocity rounded and plated ammo. The factory mags are always the best option.

Do you encounter issues with the stock separating from the barrel over time? I usually have to re-tighten the screws every 500 rds or so, but I still have my barrel band on.

Marlin 60 or Ruger 10/22?

I want it for plinking and target practice until I can get and feed a bigger bolt gun/ar. I've heard that the marlin 60 is a more accurate gun out of the box, and I can get it cheaper, so I'm tempted to go that way, but I hear the triggers not great, and there aren't many upgrades.

It's the long barrelled .22 short jetfire. It's hilarious, and there's something about tip-up barrels...
That was a joint trip, the P7M8 and all the Berettas belong to my buddy. Funny story about that P7, the second time I shot it, I brought out some ammo I didn't realize were reloads. Well, one round was apparently a double charge and had a case rupture in my hand. The gun survived just fine, but it broke the Nill grips that were on it (pictured). A few years later I was finally able to get him the new set in the previous pic to replace them.

I guess he's complaining about people constantly recommending 22s as the first gun?

22s are great though, I don't know why someone wouldn't consider it as a first gun unless the want something for a specific role or they're one of those people who only shoot for the recoil. I have a friend who is like that and laughs ever time I bring up 22s since I use to primarily shoot 22s.

I don't own any but I've used a friends non-metal reinforced Butler Creeks and they functioned fine.

No point now that BX-25s are around but Butler Creeks seem OK too.

Why the fuck would you chose to do something in two steps when it could be done in one? You sound like of of those faggots who resents people who work smarter instead of harder because it devalues the time you had to put in to accomplish the same task.

I had a .17hmr but sold it. It will give you more range and accuracy over .22lr BC its faster and shoots flatter. But consider the price of ammo. At the prices now it cost as much as .223 so you might as well get a .223.

You did good faggot. You did good.

>beautiful stock
That's really down to personal taste. I think it's hideous, it's the sort of thing people (teenagers) with grease stained metal band shirts and a McJob would think is 'fuckin' awesome dude'. Cyrus from Trailer Park Boys would love that rifle.

Is that a cz?
>>

Maybe there's a cultural reference I'm missing with relation to that stock. With that said, it looks like a lot of time and work went into that thing, assuming it wasn't just all done with machines. I think it's a nice stock.

What? It looks laser etched

Yeah, 452.
>>
>>32934314
Guess it was done with machines then. I still think it looks nice.

That mini mauser action and walnut stock combo looks so good.

How accurate is it?

Plus you legally have to be an adult to actually own firearms. So that helps

do you know if they make a bald eagle version of that stock?

More accurate than I can usually shoot with iron sights, with a scope and match ammo it's quite impressive, about MOA I think though I've never fire at exactly 100yrds and measured groups with calipers. Very credible for a rimfire is a conservative way of putting it, especially for one without a free floated or heavy barrel. I've never had a more accurate .22lr but I have shot target rifles that will beat it.

>mini Mauser
People say this but really it's nothing like a Mauser: rear locking, bolt looks completely different, extraction and ejection is completely different, receiver design is completely different, trigger is completely different.

But on the hand the CZ452 (and its predecessor the Brno Model 1) could be fairly called the 98 of the .22 bolt world. Both are simply and solidly constructed, both have threaded barrels, both have two load bearing lugs, both are known for being accurate, both have been around ages and have kind of wholesome old-fashioned-but-still-relevant-today feel about them. To quote the meme "It's just a good, solid .22."

>>32930689
Honestly once you get used to it its not bad. I can do it with one hand.

no but there is a gator one . . . They are laser cut for ruger by TALO distributors as a kind of limited edition thing iirc. There are like 3 or 4 different models with different graphics.

Congrats OP! I'll probably be joining you tomorrow in leaving No-Gunz status, found at Marlin 60W in great condition for $80.00 at the local Cabela's. gonna go see about picking it up after work tomorrow when I get payed.

why doesn't Glock make a .22 pistol or a .22 conversion kit for their guns?

Jamal?

i mean .22 is a a good buy and is still popular unless you need to compensate for your micro penis.
