You're right anon, but do you know what category that is? That would be extreme distance military precision rifles. .338 LM's major advantage over everything else in the market is travel time. It's extremely important at these stupid long ranges that the bullet get on target before he, you know, moves. If you're punching holes in paper then the odds of it up and running away are rather low. In that case, pure long range accuracy, .408 Cheyenne is currently unbeatable in any magazine fed rifle a human being can realistically carry for more than a few seconds.

It does slightly better in a few select grains which Nosler uses to show it off. Ballistic coefficient is poor compared to .338 Lapau, which is why they don't put that in the charts they put out.
The actual reason Nosler might be good is because it fits in a standard long action rifle - or it would if anyone sold one chambered in it.
