Because they're sexy guns. Decent trigger once the mag disconnect is removed. Full size grip. Slim slide profile. Heavy hammer that will eat any primer. With the influx of surplus pistols coming out, the price has been flooded way down. I bought a late 90s production Hi Power for 500 bucks. It's hard to find a better steel-frame SAO double stack 9mm.
