Because the Yamato is massive and ww2 famous, The Russo japan war is not so famous. Mikala is a fine looking ship though, would love to visit it.

Then... slowly a Swede, German and French men show up and just stare at the Russians...... then a Moroccan until the Germany reluctantly walks forward and throws some coal at the Russians and everyone walks away.

Then for the second movie it has the Russians just sitting around sweating on their ships at cape town and then madigascar. Eventually animals start appearing on the ship and slowly overwhelming the crew as they are puffing on opium filled cigarettes and don't have a care in the world. Then one crazy guy starts his own religious cult and starts an opium fueled mutiny/revolution only to die by being bitten by a poisonous snake.

Remember history isn't interesting.
