Is the p38 not one of the sexist pistols ever?
Besides the european mag release.

Indeed it is. A classic and aesthetically balanced design. The P38 had a lasting legacy in the design of the Beretta 92 series and lives on in the sidearms of soldiers and police across the world today.
The P08 on the other hand is ugly as sin and a mere historical footnote whose design died immediately.
Criminally underrated handgun from both a mechanical perspective and shooting as well. We are using the updated version in the Beretta M9.
Luckily most Germaboos want Lugers instead so market price isn't too bad.

Still a little hard to find something at a price I'm willing to settle for, or I'm getting jewed by high hidden reserves on gunbroker.

And that's why I'd rather have the M9/92FS.

nah, the P38 treats both genders equally
>>32922603
They made more of the P38 I think, also there's the P1 and P4 variants taking slack off the market, many would easily settle for a cheaper and easier to find P1 (which is nearly the same, featuring an aluminum frame) than spend extra money on a Nazi German P38.

In fairness though, a P38 with an 18rd flush mag and a Brigadier style of reinforced slide would be the tits.

Speaking of which. Anyone know a good place to get wood grips for my P1?

Wehraboo tier list is Luger > Broomhandle > P38.
Mediocrity incarnate. Get some taste.

See above.
One of the CA /k/ommandos scored a Manurhin-made P1 for $500 as his first gun. It's comfy and accurate as fuck.

I'd take a savage 1907 in 45 rather than that ugly shit
