How do i do this?
>mom won't do it bc she's afraid of the government and people
>dad lives in another state
>stepdad is australian, eg antigun
>none of my close friends are 21 yet
>armslist sales usually want a CCP, which I don't have yet because of address issues
Hilfe
You're just fucked. It has to be a gift. Wait it out

find an armslist posting that doesn't require ID

black powder revolvers m8
What state do you live in?
I'm 20 and I bought mine private sale.
That's really the only way you're gonna (legally) obtain a handgun under 21.
I have to buy ammo private sale too so you might just wanna wait until you're 21.

>buy glock parts kits
>buy glock 80% frame
>assemble with a dremel tool
I think a new compact frame just came out which looks a lot better than the old full sized 80%.

just tell the seller out right you're of legal age for private sales but not for ffl sales and link the law. I bought my first handgun before i was 21 (which also happened to be a cz82). I just had to find a seller who was comfortable with it which wasnt surprisingly hard. A lot of people know the law only applies to FFL sales

>I have to buy ammo private sale too so you might just wanna wait until you're 21.
biggest bitch, honestly.
>>32915039
It is. Everyone in my area who is selling 9x19 isn't selling a lot and wants too much for it when I could go get Tula for .15/round or Blazer Brass for like sub.20/round if I was 21.
I don't get to shoot my Jericho much.
>>32915039
go to gunshows. thats where i bought my handgun ammo before i was 21.
Buy blackpowder revolver. Buy conversion cylinder. Done.
only legal ways to get one under 21 is by getting it gifted or by private sale. find someone on armslist or at a funshow... or give your mom some money for "room and board" which is equivalent to whatever the cost of the gun is and see if she'll do it that way

not OP but face same problems, I live in WI
>>32915002
They have to have been built before 1895 though
>>32914945
Explain to your mother that gifting a handgun is completely legal and there can be no repercussions for it. Try to reason with her anon, it's your only hope. My handgat and I'm only 18.
>>32915117
or based off a design from before 1895.
>>32915064
You know you can buy pistol ammo online without being 21? I did it even when I was like 15.
>>32914999
It's not illegal to buy a handgun in most states at 18.
>>32915117
No they don't, that's to buy cartridge firearms without doing FFL or 4473.
Black powder isnt regulated as firearms, so anyone anywhere in the US can legally own.
>>32915135
She's basically a prepper, she bought her ruger SR9C via private sale with cash so the government won't know
But it was a nerve wracking experience for her and she doesn't want to do it again
>>32915016
I've considered this. My issue is what sort of packaging does it come in? I'm innacollege and don't want to get fucked over by the mailroom calling the cops
>>32915200
It's not illegal to assemble your own firearm. If your campus has rules against having firearms then wat r u doin in the first place lad?
>>32915231
I'm not gonna let some liberal fucks tell me I can't use my god given right to put holes in a piece of paper at 25 yards
>>32915200
If your so worried about that, go to the post office and get a PO box, bam no mail room and its illegal for them to open your mail without a warrent.
>>32914945
just go buy it legally you sperggina
>>32915251
Ship 80% and parts stuff to mommies house.

>>32915012
>not buy ammo online
nigga a 16 year old kid can buy ammo
>>32915117
No, reproductions of arms predating 1895 not utilizing cartridges (pretty much all muzzle loaders) are not firearms according to all federal and state laws excluding New York and thus can be mailed right to your door.
That's how I got both of mine.
>>32915312
Also an interesting bit of trivia, they are not subject to SBR or SBS laws either.
>>32915326
>>32915312
also you can own them as a felon since they are not firearms according to the law
>>32914945
Polymer80
build it yourself
>>32915200
Multiple companies sell those 80% frames, just choose the least scary looking one.
>>32914945
Either have patience, join the military in a role that gets issued pistols (I know MPs do), or find a way to convince a family member. If you go about it shadily or unlawfully then you could get your right to bear arms taken away, and possibly the right of the person who sells it to you taken away.

Depends on the state
