the 43 and even 42 are legit pocket guns, this is not, or at least not as good provided the clothes you are wearing.

I am thinking about buying one for my first gun and want to know also.

Here in the PRC (people's republic of California) I can't load more than 10 bullets in my gun or I will go to jail.
A full size Glock with small mags seems pointless when a g26 is lighter.

a fullsize grip with small mags gives you a gun you can comfortably hold.
with a 26 you pinky hangs off the gun
its much easier to shoot a 19 or 17 than it is to shoot a 26. you can learn to shoot on a 26 but the learning curve is significantly higher.

The only ppl I ever heard say the 26 was a pocket gun, are ppl that are like 6'8". I'm only 5'10" and easily conceal it either appendix, or 3 o'clock with no print. Nice to have a G19 or g17 mag for back up, which you can't do with the 42 or 43. i owned the g27 which is the same size as the g26, i sold it and got the g43 because it was to thick to conceal.

Some of us can pocket carry it. I'm a body builder but not even that tall. 5'10 but 230lbs. I don't wear tight clothing. I usually wear pretty loose clothing and have been able to pocket carry it in loose jeans and definitely in cargo shorts or pants.

That being said. Like another anon told you. It's not a pocket gun, and never meant to serve as one.

It's supposed to be one of the most easily concealable non printing guns that can still carry plenty of firepower. 10+1 of 9mm for its size is amazing.

Add in the fact you can carry a spare 17 or 19 mag, or even a 33 rounder and that's pretty handy.

Guns tend to print more from the handle, and not due to the thickness of the handle but the length. The G26 has an extremely small handle. Even smaller than the G43.

They're a great gun. Even giants like Hicock and his son John prefer them for carry. As do I.

Only thing I don't like about my Gen3 26 is that it has no rail, but for my CC purposes it's rather unnecesary so not really much or an issue.

The 30 is about the most comfortable compact glock I've ever shot. I have big hands and they fit on just fine.

I live in a cuck state, if you get the 43 youll have to get a +3 baseplate to get 9+1 so just remember that. My buddy CC the 26 and I CC the 43. I havent shot his so I cant really comment, but they both work.
