Hey /k/ I was going through my dads stuff after he passed and I found this I'm not really into guns and I was wondering if this was worth much at all?
>>32901860
Nah, the Army is dumping them.
Probably can't get more than 200 smackeroos for it
>>32901860
Worth 450 to the right buyer.
>>32901860
>is it worth much at all
No, but it's in good shape. Learn what it is, learn how to use it, and take good care of it, because your father left it to you for a reason.
Asking how much it's worth means you're thinking about selling it, which is the wrong decision. Don't sell it unless you intend to desecrate the last will and testament of your dead father.
Beretta 92 something.
I would keep it as a heirloom.
Buy bullets for it and shoot it.

Keep it faggot
>>32901894
Wait, is there a place I can get one for $200? I could use a DA/SA that is not fucking P64.
>>32901923
He's meming. They haven't plunged in price yet, and even then the one in the OP is in good condition with nice grips so will be worth more than beat to shit army ones that may or may not eventually come onto the market.
>>32901923
Yeah, I was memeing. You'd be lucky to find one under 500 bucks at the moment.
Like >>32901946 said, either sell that shit for a decent price (over 600) or hold onto it and let it appreciate.
I don't think it's ever been fired, it's kinda heavy as well!
>>32901995
Heavy is good, heavy is reliable.

If you live in WI I'll give ya 250 gbps.

Here's an article on the weapon OP.

Personally, I would keep it as an heirloom. I see this type of thread pop up every few weeks and it kills me every time. My dad/grandpa/uncle died and the first thing I want to know is what is this worth so I can sell it. Unless you're about to get evicted or starving, keep that shit and pass it down. The 4-6 hundred you'll get won't compare to the sentimental value. The 92FS is a great handgun and the military has used it since the 80's so there's historical significance too.
If you are DEAD SET on selling it , take no less thn $500.

This post was definitely a troll, but I just can't help but think that something like that really happened somewhere. It makes me very sad.
>>32901860
keep it. never part with it.
someday you may find an interest in it
>>32901860

/thread, particularly to the "learn how to use it" crowd.
Seriously man. Learn it. You'll enjoy putting itty bitty holes in paper at twenty five yards. It's like golf but easier to use to defend yourself.
