>tfw trying to resist the urge to buythe px4 carry
>>32898706
Has anyone used the korean made 35 round aftermarket mags for the 92 series?
>>32898706
I have some mec-gar mags. 2 18rd flush fit mags, awesome mags. You can get a +2 extension or buy them with it attached. Imo I would stay away from promags, beretta makes a factory 20rd mag but the mec-gars look better and are shorter. Beretta factory 30rd mags are sex imo I own 2, would trust my life with them.
>>32898706
I have 2 20 round Mec-Gar mags that run very well. I have a 20 round Beretta OEM mag that gives me some trouble. I think it may simply be that the a Beretta 20 needs so break in a bit. It was sitting in storage for a couple of decades before I got it.
My 92a1, love it so far. I have a DeSantis holster and some mec-gar 18s on the way. I want to get a kydex holster, but waiting until I decide what light I get and if I get suppressor height sights or not. Finding an a1 holster was somewhat difficult, and finding a holster for one with a light doesn't seem easy. What's it take to have a custom kydex made? Do I buy the "back part" then find someone local to make me a shell molded to my gun?
Also post up all your holsters and shoulder rigs. Still want a shoulder rig because John McClain.
anyone here have a samurai edge?

Shame we'll never see M9A3's in Black. They're so fucking aesthetic.
>>32901637
Get a Vertec with a G conversion and a threaded barrel. The only things missing are the slightly different front and back strap texture and the three slot rail.
Or you could just cerecoat it.

I just bought a 92fs. I get to pick it up this Friday. I'm pretty excited since I just turned 21.
>>32902600
Nicely done anon. I love mine. I wanna add a comp so I can look like Leon.
>>32902623
Although I don't know if I want to keep it black or go two tone by anodizing the frame or something. Not sure.

Pic fucking related.
Anyone have input or experience on having an aluminum framed gun anodized? Or cerakoated?

Top fucking taste, my man.

>>32903918
Actually I just remembered the Compact Carry isn't on the CA roster since it's a new model.
Looks like my faggot ass state has once again decided I will not be buying the gun I want.
>>32903936
That's nice, b0ss. That's real nice. Resident Evil was the series was that started me along the fath to being a firearms enthusiast, although I admit it was the merc's SP2009 from RE3 that was the first gun I really wanted to own.
>>32903944
On the other hand, there's a good chance you'll actually get to remove gommies with your fullsize if Cali actually secedes. There's always a silver lining.

Anybody here /90two/? I've wanted one for years and kept putting it off, but I imagine they'll be going out of production soon. They're basically just a proto-A1 functionally, right?
>>32904156
Fucking want. I'm about to order one with my credit card and just pretend it didn't happen. Thats the SGS right?
>>32904170
Havn't seen anyone post one much. From what I've read they are harder to find holsters for and shit so its ok if you don't want a carry gun. If you want polymer Beretta I'd recommend the Px4. If you want the 92 just get the 92fs or M9A1 if you want the rail.
>>32904170
You just know the lead designer for this had just gotten off a cyber-punk binge that weekend. Fucking GiTS and Bladerunner.
>>32904203
fuckn kek. I keep seeing the m9a3 in the commercials for the new 24 or some shit. Thing stands out its all I see every time the commercial plays.
>>32904203
>You just know the lead designer for this had just gotten off a cyber-punk binge that weekend.
Literally the reason I want one.
>>32904202
>Thats the SGS right?
No idea, bought it as configured
I have the 30 round mag for it somewhere that I bought for shits. Other than being a mother fucker to load it, it's pretty fun. Was my first of a few funs and I regret nothing.
>>32898916
>>32900151
>>32900532
So are the original mags just designed like shit or what? A 3 round difference for the same size mag is massive.

The mags that come with the gun is good to go, but are just standard. mec-gar mags are best imo, 18rd flush fit is nice. iirc beretta makes factory 17rd mags. Me personally would only buy beretta factory mags or mec-gar mags.
>>32904834
It doesn't bother me at all. Of course I'd prefer it not be there, but it's never deterred me.
35rds of pure fun
>>32904867

designing your mags around 60's metallurgy.
>>32904741
Regular mags for the 92 from Beretta hold 17 rounds. For some reason the military wanted 15 round mags for the M9, then Beretta started using 15 round mags in other 92 variants. Why the military wanted 15 round capacity instead of 17 I have no clue.
>>32904922
Yeah when I'm at the range and show some friends standard 15rd mag, then show them the 18rd mag. Their reaction: how is it physically possible?!?. *flying math equations*
>>32904834

>dual wielding M93R's because AMERICA
>>32904959
I'd guess because 15 has nice, round numbers where it matches up with ammo in boxes.
three 50-round boxes is enough to fill 10 mags exactly.
>>32905483
The Army getting magcucked by an autistic bean-counter is something I could legitimately believe.
>>32901637
>>32904934
There are people in the world who think Beretta is Colt. Sad.
>>32905013
Use the phrase "telescoping springs" and watch realization dawn.
>>32905302
Hell yeah. They can keep using all the extra tooling for the M9 that won't be making things for the US military anymore
>>32905347
Decocker is love. I found it really changed how confident I am in carrying my 92. No more sweeping my thumb up to check lever position for me.
>>32907710
It isn't unheard of to carry a 92fs with the safety disengaged.
>>32907982
It's still good practice to sweep to ensure the safety is off during your draw even if carrying in DA.
