galco makes great leather, so does desantis

safariland has the best polymer material and the best duty systems, plus you can get CC-friendly "civilian" versions

I just ordered pic related a few hours ago and seeing this thread is already setting in buyer's remorse. I was torn between the alien gear and the iwb trigger guard from cook's holsters. Went with this one because of the lower profile (currently my only firearm is full size)

Because it's more difficult to find a quality leather holster, and leather is not as uniform as kydex, it changes properties with time and wear.

Never watched MV, shoulders rigs can be amazing. In summer I'll just wear shorts and a tshirt, have my shoulder holster under my shirt. Not hard to draw it, conceals pretty damn good for me. Plus after having two kids, I just found it easier to carry that way, over traditional belt carry.

She can use my concealment express iwb okay but really prints with appendix carry. I have a feeling it's more of a clothing issue than holster.

Alien Gera is good. I have one and have had no problems. StealthGear is definitely better though, I just haven't needed to spend the money yet because my Alien Gear is working fine. When it breaks I'll probably go to StealthGear.

Hands down I prefer Hidden Hybrid Holsters, I like alien gear, they're better than most but I'm not a huge fan of the rubber/plastic coating they use. Also the fact that I can use one holster IWB and OWB is a nice touch, not something I would personally use, but I like having the option if I need/want it while traveling.

Also to date, Alien gear holsters is the only one I've had all the screws work themselves loose over time. I had three of the four screws in the holster(that hold the kydex to the backer) work loose at once
