You pull both triggers at once, there isn't any velocity. It'll kill someone about 6-9 feet away, but after that (I'm assuming long brass bird shot) it won't be much more than a very unstable ball of pellets that'll just leave a very very nasty bruise.

I never tried it with slugs or buckshot, so idk. Also, that short of a barrel for some reason pellets like to come at you when you shoot. Not many, and they aren't moving very fast, but wear eye pro. The better move is to not cut it that short. Keep about an inch or two of barrel past the shell. That seems to be enough.
