I have an MPX currently, had an MCX for a while.

MPX has been fucking great, one of my favorite guns I've ever owned. I bought the MCX when I couldn't find a 16S, then about two weeks after I bought it I found one so it had to go. It was ok, the handguard felt really cheap/weak, I doubt it could take getting slammed around without bending or worse. It was pretty accurate. The muzzle device was put on with the strength of 10 retards and a gallon of red loctite. Enjoy removing that.

Sig is the biggest problem with both guns. They refuse to sell spare parts for either - even piddly shit like extractors, springs, etc. You have to break the gun, send it in, wait 3 months and then they'll send it back with a fixed part. It's fucking stupid. Their CS people are also trained to tell you "that's how it's supposed to be" regardless of what problem you're having.

Sig also won't tell you what the gas settings mean. There's a + and a - setting, but they contradict themselves in the manual, and when you call in and ask they'll just say "uhhh if it doesn't work on one, switch it to the other...". Mine did have a couple FTF's w/ steel case on both settings right out of the box, but seemed to go away after the first couple mags.

Charging handles on both guns are pretty shit. The sig forums and owners group on skypebook is pretty shit as well, so don't expect much help.

That's just some bullshit to artificially limit the response. The BCG is retained within the upper so it doesn't even matter. Also, going from 6.5 Grendel to 7.62x39 does not involve a bolt change.
