Garage projects, bar napkin sketches, parts kits welcome. Anyone got a CNC they want to brag about? will bump with random neat shit.

i'm hoping these don't turn out to be vaporware. I would gladly pay $1500 for a lower mill.

Teach me how to make a double barrel shotgun.
>>32879523
Fuck ye, Idk honestly. Are you thinking sxs or o/u?
>>32879523
Internal or external hammers?
>>32879523
Use locktite to connect two shotguns.
>>32879461
Why not just get a serious machine? CNC knee mills are the best of both worlds and you could machine a pallet to do multiple lowers at once.
You can fit a milling machine, tooling etc in a single garage bay easily.
>>32879382
I realized this morning that a 9mm Luger cartridge will fit a 5.45x39 bolt. I kind of want to make some unholy hybrid of an AK and Uzi, making a mag insert for the AK receiver and moving the trigger forward. I haven't put much thought into this so I don't know how well the gas system would work.
>>32879749
>>I'm looking for optimization with .dd format software/ other opensource cnc tools. I would also like to get a mill and lathe setup as well.

Side by side in 12g
>>32879690
Just a hammer I can cock back hit the trigger an it hits the primer.
Was watching youtube videos on it I just need tools and material and thats the problem.
>>32879741
Whats a locktite and where do I get one cheap.
Canada here so using it for goose/coyote.
>>32879799
That whole pic.
Go back to Africa.
If you dont wanna be American and conform the you can geet out.
>>32879817
Loctite is like a fancy glue. Anon was kidding.
>Canadian
Can't you cut down barrels to any length?
>mfw when patrolling for coyotes with 2 single shot 12 in shotguns
>one in each hand
>>32879817
Look up the Leinad derringer kits. It'll give you an idea on how to build a break actual single shot. They have double barrel versions, so maybe plan on scaling that up to twelve gauge
>>32879827
Those words could've just as easily been said by America's founders...
>>32879885
I'm native amercan our religion says we dont own land.
We traded land for guns and horses

>sorry I dont me to be offensive but they have up their land for spices/horses/guns.
>>32879851
I wish I could just go buy a 12 gauge double barrel but
>hurr durr you need a pal.
>>32879866
Alright thanks a bunch, does it need any special tools because all I have are screwdrivers/hammer/big saw.
>>32880102
Land? The pic doesn't even mention land. Hell you on about?
>>32879461
You know that thing is the size of a shoe box, right?

This is what I had in mind.
Seems easy enough thick steel pipe that can fit a 12g snug enough to pop in and out.
Weld or tie those two barrels together and put them on a swivel
And all that you need are a hammer an trigger system which can be made really primitive.
Shit I might just stick with a single barrel for simplicity sake.
Thank god for kike tube

>>32880291
Yeah thats the dude.
I got an idea for making a slamfire but with a hammer that hits the primer.
I guess I could buy a hammer and shotgun pipe?
Trying for no tools but i might make a bow.
>>32879827
Obviously you don't know American history blacks tried to conform to the "American way" but was stopped by the whites who segregated them and out right killed blacks even burnt down black owned businesses so fuck out of here /pol/
AR-7 anyone?
http://3dali.cn/3dmoxing/2016-08-08/70.html#ecms
>>32880701
I've been working on a 3D model of the AR-7, though I haven't touched it in a while.
The trigger is just a placeholder, there are a few internal features of the receiver missing, a couple features on the bolt, the safety, etc.
>>32880777
you have a 3D model of the magazine you can share?
>>32880630
What? Just what? You typed out that leftist bullshit and hit submit
>>32880823
Nope. Haven't even touched the magazine yet.
Honestly, the magazine is probably the weakest link. The feed ramp is built into the magazine.

Have it. It's kinda sparse, honestly. 54 pages total.
I have no firearm designs but I've been sitting on a semiauto rubber ball gun for some years, can be made out of garden variety PVC pipe and fittings with minimal complex machine work using only a drill or dremel. May actually get around to building it soon with all the riots and whatnot.

Can I use 2 double barrels?
How do I make safe shotgun shells? I mean materials, size, structure
Buying is not an option
>>32879523
>>32879817
>>32880102
I think this could be adapted into a double barrel pretty easily. The only problem I see, is the gap between the two barrels if you added that extra pipe sleeve around the barrels to reinforce them.

Looks good anon, I've recreated a few guns on CAD and I like to think they're accurate. Will dump them soon.
Been working on a 7.62 rifle of my own this week. Pic related
>>32880777
will you make this available for download when you're done? Also are you making accurate threads and using a micrometer, I'd like to make one
>>32881555
It's not like it's an expensive "book" anyway.
>>32881567
>pic related
tfw no pic
>>32881606
but mom
>>32881582
Don't know whether I'll make it available to others, yet.
I'm trying to make it accurate, though without a CMM, it's hard to get accurate measurements on some features with vernier calipers. Threads are standardized, so it's not like those are a problem.
You can see a bunch of the missing features in this view.
>>32881445

So I wonder, could there be a way to make the Low Maintenance Rifle even simpler in production and operation while being rock solid reliable, something that could be made using minimal machinery

you motherfucker posting loss.jpg and thinking nobody will spot it? shame
Being that a machinist or toolmaker is a rather rare job in general most of you guys dont know you need some sort of program to write tool paths on the parts you have in CAD so the machine can actually produce them. The next issue is knowing material types and having the proper fixtures to hold the work
>>32884552
You're joking, right?
/k/ has tons of people in manufacturing.
Also, most companies use separate CAD and CAM software.
Materials should be clearly indicated on the technical drawings.

I'm trying to develop 3D printable 15 round magazine for CZ Kadet .22lr conversion kit. I installed CAD software couple a days ago and started training. Now I have the follower and mag body designed, need to design floor plate and it's attachment to the mag then I can print prototypes.
For initial testing I'm planning to use the 10rd mag spring but if I'm going to make any more I need custom springs and that's going to be a problem.
>>32884819
In the Canada General alone there are multiple machinists, CAD/CAM Technicians, etc.
>>32884880
Which specific CAD program are you using?

They actually had their own communities, which were destroyed by socialism. This caused them to try and move into white areas and this obviously caused tension. This tension was then exploited to cause enough of chaos and fear and emotion that we would allow our rights to self determination to be taken away.
Blacks didn't gain rights.
All people lost the right to choose who they do and do not do buisness with.
