Bretty great pistol. 17+1. Stupid accurate, nearly on par with a competition or fixed barrel gun. Eats trash and match ammo alike. Very soft recoil too. The slide safety is kinda garbo, but Beretta makes a slim decocker only change-out for it, so I'm getting one. Runs good dry, but it needs to swim in lube to run at 100%

9/10 It's my favorite pistol and favorite sidearm in general.

Yuh. That's the part that lends to the accuracy and soft recoil.

I love mine, Ive sent about 2k rounds down range and only had 2 not feed right, which I am thinking might be partly due to cheap ammo, and me not cleaning as often as need be. At any rate, it is an accurate firing weapon (by 1911 standards) that feeds well and can take some abuse. I would buy it again no problem.

Meprolite m3 is one of the best things I've put on a handgun. This is my personal opinion. For me I've gotten where I can point the gun naturally, so the optic lines up and I see the very limited sight picture instantly.

For someone that's not practiced, or has issues, it'd be terrible.

That said, it's bright as FUCK, day or night, and since it takes the whole front/rear sight alignment out of it, using parallax based lenses. I can shoot both eyes open, all focus downrange using it more like a red dot optic.

It works well for me, your mileage may vary.
