ITT: We draw and discuss shitty blueprints of weapons ideas we have.
Is that a punch-operated four winds shotgun with bonus stabbing action?
>>32868737
Yes, yes it is.
>>32868742
Nice.
This thread is fucking gay
God damn it steve
>>32868631
why you you need to simultaneously need to stab and shoot someone
>>32870075
You're fucking gay
>>32870119
Why wouldn't you?
Bumping, i might try my hand at this later
>>32870119
Originally I was thinking of just a punch activated gun. But because its a single shot at a time I figured you'd need a backup if it didnt work or you still need protection.
>>32868631
Lets go one step further. Anyone have any autoCAD designs for funs.
Shitty design of a simple bolt for a bolt action rifle
>>32870307
Yes but Ive got to get home first.
>>32870316
Updated it. The middle lines aren't needed. Plunger/firing pin gets pulled back and washer catches on trigger. Trigger being pulled causes spring to decompress and push the firing pin forward
>>32870348
Also, how difficult is drilling through steel pipe plugs with a handheld power drill?
>>32870386
Depends on how good the the drill and the bit are.
>>32870268
Basically a pen gun
At this point im pretty sure you have to reset it by physically pushing the firing pin back
CAD drawing of my tank sword Idea. I think its pretty realistic.
>>32870527
>CAD drawing
It's not a CAD drawing if I can reacreate in in paint with little to no effort.
It's like calling anything ITT a technical drawing.
>>32870453
god damn
>>32871098
Its a CAD drawing because it was made with CAD software retard. Specifically Autocad 2016.
>>32871977
CAD
>computer assisted drawing
>microsoft paint is computer assisted
>tfw im an expert in CAD softwhere
>tfw your drawing looks like shit
would nerf be /k/?
>>32868631
git out of /k/ royalnonesuch

I'm thinking of attempting to make a straight pull bolt action that's cock on close and has a triangular bolt face but I feel like this may be somewhat ambitious for a first time machining experiment. Thoughts?
>>32868631
An idea I've been thinking about recently...
Basically, it is a double toggle lock action with panels covering the hinges.
>y tho
it looks cool.
Red is bolt+lock
green in bolt+lock after recoil.
I call it the bangpole
>>32871977
>its a CAD drawing because it was made with CAD software
You didn't use a single function of AutoCAD that puts it above paint.
>>32874822
you forgot an ignition system, dumbass.
>>32874866
Drill a hole in the back.
Done.
>>32874882
it's still shit
>>32874866
>>32868631
I have this idea of a lot of tube and having the same as a lot of a lot turned off the she'll make the projectile over a half the distance of over a hundred more than you are not to be more of a trigger than a action soon make the timer on the top of your cover and then about three or so times per a half of a half of a half of a times per half of a time second time you create a pressurized chance of a lot of feet per velocity.

>Uses autocad to make gun tank
>Faggots complain about the drawing and not the absurdity of the thing I drew
Also the only thing I argued is that it was a CAD drawing. Its a not a technical drawing and anyone who knows the first thing about autocad can see that, plus I never argued that it was. Also if you're saying aspects of the drawing that made use of the features of AutoCAD that you can't find in paint I would say:
Layers
Hatches
Object snap
Polar tracking
Fillet
Array
Rotate
And a bit more. Although even though I say this you'll probably respond with some retard comeback with some fault here or there on a drawing that wasnt meant to be perfect. So go ahead and elicit your response faggot.

If only there was a way to better ignite the gunpowder

I'm no engineer, but I've got an idea for a short-stroke gas-operated assault rifle that uses a triangular bolt head, and is fully ambidextrous and well as being able to switch the ejection port to either side, simply by turning the bolt a different direction. It also has some other stuff, I'm working on a way to get it to accept other sizes of ammo with only a barrel change
>>32875566
Ive got it. You carry a torch with you and use it to light the fuse.
Hey guys what if we had a repeating rifle with a detachable magazine?
>>32875605
Stop it Ivan
>>32874654
Try a straight pull bolt with a Mauser head and a turn bolt with a triangular head separately, This way you work out the two main aspects of your design first. You don't want a confusion between the straight pull part, and the triangular part if there's a problem. You're going to have locking problems on both though at first.
Can you guess what this is?
>>32875675
I see, thanks for the tip. Can't wait to test it out.
>>32875605
That's crazy talk
>>32875771
Looks like a basic substitution cipher that uses characters that are based off of kanji
>>32875949
Not even sure if kanji, they're shaped pretty similar to latin alphabet

Minimalist bolt-action shotgun in 12ga I've been working on. Designed to be built with nothing but hand tools, a hand drill, an angle grinder, and a dremel. It has a 2-stage trigger because I'm using this firearm as a test bed to work all the kinks out of the action for a gas piston-driven semi-auto in 7.62x39mm. I can't build that gun until I get a mill, a lathe, and a ~12-ton press in a few years.
>>32877044
Close-up of the action so far. I still need to model the magazine, extractor, and locking lugs.
>>32875771
you misspelled "pickketany"

can you post bjqvwxz and a better shot of u?
also that is space behind the bullet and not gunpowder, right?
>>32875295
It is, by definition, a product of Computer Aided Drafting, but for all intents and purposes, a drawing like that is just artwork.
