Stars are surprisingly good. I looked at some double stack model from the 90's at a gun show when I was shopping around for a replacement for my SD9VE. It was pretty nice but I decided against it.

Would go for it just for the "say what again" value.

I've read they are a bit inconsistent. Though at $100 you either get a less common gun that works and you like at a good price or worst case scenario get a shitty one or don't enjoy it and have to sell it for what you bought it for.
