Yeah I'm alil torn on the EDC... I've been carrying a SIG P320 for about a year now, but this is approximately the same weight.

The SIG, I'm not concerned about getting carry wear... but an $800 Kimber... yeah...

I've had my Kimber since my 21's birthday when my dad gave it to me (this was in 2012), he got it in 2001 shortly after 9/11 (cause 'murika) and combined we've shot the piss out of it and I carry in concealed all the time, so did my dad. Never had any problems, I can't even recall a single malfunction, though I'm sure I've tried to feed it some shitty low-power reloads and had a few malfunctions, but unlike my Glock 17 or my Beretta M9, I can't think of a time when I was shooting and had to clear an actual malfunction. And I shoot my Kimber a lot more.
I don't believe in the Kimber a shit meme.

Bought this yesterday. Safety doesn't fully engage the sear, trigger bow loose as fuck in trigger track, but the pull itself is crisp and light.

But, good frame and slide, series 70 design and cheap.
