Nice meme
Something a bit more unusual, perhaps. A German Volksgasmaske model 40.
>>32856916
That's not a meme. I called you a loser because you are one.
Original replies are not memes. Jesus Christ you're fucking retarded.
Czechoslovakia vz 25.
Another German Volksmask, this time a 37.
I currently only own a PMK-1 russian surplus gas mask.
Im at school rn so I cant post real pics
Im thinking of getting a Bulgarian PLDE and a GP5 later on

Are those WW2 era? Id never heard of it.
>>32857075
Yeah, both are civilian German mask models introduced in 1937 and 1940. All private homes at least in the cities were given these. I am not sure which version came next, if any but since these were made of rubber I doubt the next one was made from the same material.
Hang on, here is the next one. VM 44. As I thought, this one is just made from cloth covered with synthetic rubber.
Group pic from testing in 1919.
Stalkers, unite....
And what a fun activity for the kids!
>operating in a mask with anything other than a full visor for maximum range of vision
its like you want to fail
This pic is old as fuck, but the mask is the NM16, the Norwegian M9 clone. Visibiliy - not too bad!
>>32857328
I don't have an id for this mask yet except that it is german ww2 style but actually Spanish.

>tfw i wear glasses
No stalker cosplay for me.
>>32857718
Actually there's a number of options for you still.

Italian gas mask, model 1935.
Perfect thread. I'm thinking of adding a gas mask to my Happening kit. How are German M65s?
are those civilian jew masks I see everywhere any good?
>>32858693
Strangely enough I don't think I have ever laid hands on a German postwar mask.
>>32858770
Israel has always been the odd one in materiel, what with political relations pretty much haywire almost from year to year. However, with the ever present danger of war and with intense US backing the last couple of decades their gas masks are probably pretty good.
Now here is what I think is a rarity - a volkssturm mask.
This is a British ww2 mask. P44 pattern, type 'light'. So called para but actual use may have been wider - it is a much more compact mask than the tube type.
>>32859484
Well, not entirely sure about the pattern number now I have it in my hands. But the mask is definitely a model L2 and an Avon.
>>32858693
M65 are good masks.
i would recommend the F2000 from Draeger, its the next generation. look on ebay.

lol fatass. you might aswell not use a filter and an hero, cause your ass aint gon live if a survival situation arises.
topkek go eat some cake
>>32857328
Putting a gas mask with an asbestos filter on just long enough to take a picture isn't going to kill you for fuck's sake.
Are you the same people who think that if you ever smoke any cigarettes whatsoever you are guaranteed to get lung cancer?
>>32863427
Wearing long term is also not an issue.
The asbestos is contained in the prefilter and can't migrate unless the canister is completely failed.
>>32862426
Why is hood improperly installed? No filters? You can get those online.
>>32862535
You can cut open the C2 filter body and remove the element if using for cosplay, or just get appropriate filters.
Vintage American Industrial masks guy checking in.
