Apparently Nicholas Irving published a second book sometime last year called Way of the Reaper. I really enjoyed reading the first one, it was written in a very immersive, easily digestible way.

Here's all four of Dalton Fury's (Thomas Greer, late Delta commander) books. Fiction series, about a Delta team leader. Absolutely awesome shit.

Reads like fiction, but its a good fiction.
I really dont know about this. Vocal "He's a fraud" reviews on amazon, but who are the people really? Guy won medals, he still has those medals?
I dunno.
Really well written though so whatever.

When you hit post and forget to type stuff.
The books sets itself up as a work of 'Non-fiction', with the author telling us that he got the story from a guy he met etc etc.
Good book. Nothing too revolutionary interms of story, but if you're down for a romp through french vietnam with a bunch of nazis, sure.
A good run down of the 3rd Arab–Israeli War.
Lots of primary source quotes, lots of on the ground accounts of things, Good, thorough lead up to the conflict and its players.

Yes they are. I second the recommendation of Chickenhawk.
Started pic related today so if the thread stays up for a while I'll update with my thoughts as soon as I can.
Recently I've been reading a few books on longbows which have all been (albeit a very biased view) interesting as hell.

Can confirm that Inside Delta Force is a great book, and that 100 deadly skills is a fun read
Has anyone read Cold Zero by Christopher Whitcomb?
It's about the FBI HRT, was wondering if it was any good
>>32861259
I enjoyed it.
Not sure if it's 100% /k/ related, but I think "The Way of Men" is an essential read for any dude.
It's a bit heavy handed in some cases but it holds more truth than not and has little grains of wisdom sprinkled throughout, especially in the context of a survival situation

It was laughably written, an obvious narcissist trying to ride the coattails and cash in like Chris Kyle.
If you care at all about tactics, or are a lowly 11b joe or noncom, anything by Poole is great reading. Throughly recommend "The Last 100 Yards" or "Tactics of the Crescent Moon" for advanced ways to operate as a team or squad leader, or to gain an insight into the Eastern way or warfare with the latter.
