Do you guys think the FBI monitors /k/ or /pol/ more?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

>>
It's the same people monitoring this whole website.
>>
Neither. They probably only archive everything so they have the ability to do an investigation after the fact.
>>
>>32853126
Fuck the FBI. 9/11 inside job.

OP is a terrorist. PRISM. Al queda, ji hadd,
Death to America.

(They are now)
>>
>>32853126
Are you fucking retarded? 4chan servers are literally stored in an FBI warehouse.
>>
>>32853175
If a post gets deleted for illegal content, it gets archived on the 4chan servers so that the cops can look over it.

They probably only get involved when somebody calls the cops.
>>
>>32853206
You want to know how to get the CIA to monitor this thread?

You realize that images load so slowly now because they're backed up on a separate FBI archive server right?

this whole website has a personality disorder developing

Mind you - I was part of that same event 10 years ago the first time around.

There's a big demographic shift that happened a year or so ago or is possibly on going..

I can only visit /k/ and /ck/ now - these are for my board, some of the aging boards demographically, not that I spent a ton of time else where but I can't identify with just about anyone here anymore.

It's the continuing fallout from 2014 then the purchase by the jap. /vip/ would have been unthinkable even a few years ago and now it exists.
>not that I spent a ton of time else where but I can't identify with just about anyone here anymore.
Even /ck/ is changing, more marketing than ever and newfags out the ass.
>>
/pol/ used to be satire. Weird shit happened to /pol/ with kek and went from satire to seeing pepe on the news and shit. Staying the fuck away from /pol/ now.

It's either truly insane or a CIA experiment.
>>
>>32853789
All the kek worshipping is just dubs threads by any other name.

No one actually believes that they summoned an Egyptian chaos god who uses memes to shape the outcome of humanity and reveals his presence and intentions through repeating digits.

/pol/ is still satire, now it's just a satire of itself.

I'm afraid that's the fate of every non-mainstream group (in this case 'nerds' or whatever name you prefer): eventually it will be packaged up and sold to the normalfags and you'll watch everything you loved about it die. It's a cycle that repeats constantly.

It's like the invisible hand of the market just wants to bitch slap my hopes and dreams. Alternatively, strangle the originality, fun, and community out of life.

Instantaneous worldwide publication and access makes privacy and insularity impractical. On the other hand, undeserved demographics are more prominent and are more likely to get attention. Rapid commercialization of any given niche is detrimental to the creation of natural community.

I guess that's why I've been attracted to 4chan. The terrible quality of its content and posters traditionally scared off companies who sought to commercialize it. As a company, 4chan was (and probably remains) a failure. It's creation and success as a passion product of a teenage weeb from SA is impossible to replicate on the modern internet, where success and user growth is driven by advertising and marketing. 4chan's only marketing was the content it's posters created, effectively advertising the community rather than the website (the product).

It will be a sad day when it dies or sells out completely. Hopefully that can be prevented for a few more years.

Other Internet sites built on their communities are failing as well. Wikipedia is dying, unable to keep its users or quality standards. It's a sad time.
>>
Honestly they probably maybe have like one or two guys half-assedly monitoring it, I doubt they care that much. I think they'd gather that /k/ is full of law abiding gun owners (therefore not generally not criminals or shitstirrers) and /pol/, especially as of recently overall love the President so they're probably not going to be much of a threat to anything.

They probably keep tabs on /b/ the most for cheese pizza
>>
>>32854036
>It's creation and success as a passion product of a teenage weeb from SA is impossible to replicate on the modern internet

They probable don't spend much time on either anymore. They're too mainstream now days. 4chan is almost at the same popularity relative to other sites as it was during Fappening, except this time it's grown slowly instead of having an instantaneous jump that lasted a month or two and died out right after. The FBI is going to spend their time on less mainstream boards like 8/pol/ where death threats and plans to kill people get tossed around regularly.

>>32854036
>It's creation and success as a passion product of a teenage weeb from SA is impossible to replicate on the modern internet, where success and user growth is driven by advertising and marketing
Advertising and marketing aren't the only problems. There's also the problem of most communities growing past what moderators can handle, faggots now days having no ability to self moderate like people used to as a result of not having to deal with moderators much at all which only exacerbates the previous problem (it's to the point where a good portion of this site considers repetitive spam to be actual content), and internet warriors dragging how they want to change real life from behind their keyboard into every community even when their cause is unrelated to the topic at hand (which is killing discussion on the smaller communities that do exist).

>Wikipedia is dying
I've been noticing this as well. A few years back you could have the entirety of Wikipedia saved and have it be reliable, now I have to make sure to check previous revisions on anything mainstream due to the amount of vandalism. As the internet has become more mainstream it has attracted more and more retards.
