What is everyone bringing for targets? I'd like to get an idea if we're all bringing something along or if it's going to be 1 guy who shows up with some paper plates and flower pots to shoot and the rest of us just shoot at the dirt. I would like everyone to bring something that can be used as a target. We did have some people who said they would bring stuff to build target stands, so we need to make sure people also bring staple guns and/or tacks to stick up paper targets.

Additionally, Creep said no glass will be used as a target at this event. I'm assuming cans will be okay on the other hand. Some people are bringing balloons which are a good idea for use as a target.

Anyone bringing a hi-pointazine gangsta gat? I've always wanted to shoot one sideways while grabbing my crotch.

I will be bringing 6 steel targets of varying sizes. I intend to set up my range at the long range area. Not really interested in the lake part. I will set up 3 handgun targets and 3 long distance rifle targets set up at different distances. I will also bring along lumber so I can build my target stand at 200 yds from the firing line. I will have quite a lot of stuff to haul from my car and it's all heavy. I hope I can expect some help from you guys, it'd be much appreciated. I'm also bringing some boom boom stuff. Finally bit the bullet and got my Alice pack modified to the point where I can fit everything I need. About damn time too. This thing was supposed to be my bob for the longest time, but not being able to carry a sleep system effectively was a joke. Got willie at gen jacksons to sew a carrier on the bottom, threw a snugpack elite 3 in there and bam, done. No more fighting to stuff a retardedly large MSS into a stupidly small main compartment. Should be mighty comfy no matter what now, unless I decide to camp out in the tundra. This thing isnt even an alice pack at this point. I have replaced every single part with some kind of improved or modified version. But it is technically still an alice pack? Kind of a modern day ship of theseus, really. I suppose this begs the question, fucking why? There are much better commerical bags. But it's finally done. I know this sounds like a crazed rant to you all, but goddamm. It is perfect. Like, some kind plationic ideal of alice packs. I think humping one around ft benning gave me some sort of lasting trauma that I have internalized, and my coping mechanism has been to create the perfect version in mockery of how goddamn awful the real, originals are.
