Statisticly speaking yes, you don't "need" high capacity. But why limit yourself. And if do find yourself in a situation where extra rounds will get you home to your loved ones your final thoughts shouldn't be "oh nuts!"

>A rifle in .308 for longer distances.

That is 7 guns for the bare minimum.
