Are the carbines worth it?
>>
Ugly, cheap, it werks.
>>
>>32839328

Yes, they're good guns for the price and get the job done. I'd still rather spend more and get something "better".
>>
>>32839328

Ugly as fuck.
Grip kinda feels like shit in hand.
Surprising reliable and actually fun to shoot.
Price point is pretty sweet too...unless they're at Cabelas. Some reason the jew in them always comes out with that price.

I built a 9mm PCC thats more accurate and half as ugly for the same price.

Alex thinks Sam is decent for the money.
>>
>>32839328
>columbine
>>
>>32839935

Tbh senpai. I rather have the hi point, cause that shit is ugly as fuck.
>>
Not really. It will work, then you'll sell it when you get sick of the thick ass pistol carbine. Just get an actual rifle.

That shit is ugly af wtf. I'd take a Hi Point carbine any day over that. Your gun looks more nigger than Hi points do.
>>
>>32839328
I think they look kinda cool.
>>
>worth it?
Yeah, I guess. They are A little rough but seem you shoot fine. My biggest issues are the single stack mag and lack of stock modularity. These are mostly gun sperge issues though.

They are pretty much in a class by themselves with regard to price and function.

Samefag
>>
>>32839328
An SKS is the same price, so, no.

>>32839935
neat.
>>
>>32839328
They are durable an accurate
You just need to get some 20rd mags, the 10 are shitty. Sucks its single stack too
That being said theyre nearly indestructible, you can beat someone to death with it
The 9mm is designed for +P so it may not cycle with weaker loads
You can keep the bolt back to try and lessen the spring tension, or even drill out pieces of the bolt
>>
>>32839328
They are way more fun and accurate than they have a right to be, and can be easily handled and used by women and kids. Great for an afternoon outing.

Ugly as a werewolf hemorrhoid, of course, but they got dat lifetime Hi-Point warranty...
>>
>>32839935
>I can weld
Good for you faggot
>>
>>32839328
pretty freaking sweet.
>combat level accuracy
>combat rounds (40 or the pussy 9 if you are a chick)
>recoil absorbing buttstock
>rails (nuff said)
>actually affordable for the working man
9/10 gun here

>>
>>32839328
Absolutely. I just got one.

Reliable and incredibly fun. Very much a beat-to-shit-and-not-care truck/range toy/beater gun. There are a few more practical guns you can get for that price, but not many more fun ones. I think it is the best HD weapon for under $300.
>>
>>32840886
Where? Not where I'm at that's for fucking sure. Around here good luck finding a SKS for under $400. I got my hipoint PCC for $290
>>
>>32839660
that's nothing
I saw a used .45 Hi-Point pistol for $450 at Gander
>>
>>32839935
I still think it's cool, but you need to slap an HK collapsing or sage stock onto that. Hell, make one
>>
>>
Related question: I want to make mine a little smaller. Can you get a collapsing or folding stock for them?
>>
>>32841262
JGSales has Chinese SKSs up for 330.
>>
>>32841893
No, they don't, I only see one for $469.

Besides, after shipping and ffl that's almost $400 anyway
>>
>>32839328
It's a school-yard favorite
>>
>>32841775
Is that retarded thing below the stock supposed to be a mag well?

What gun is that?
>>
>>32841925
Holy shit, they did a month ago.

My bad.
>>
>>32841087
Did you look at those welds? That's about par for the average person with a bit of experience.
Besides nowadays just about anyone can pick up a stick welder for less than 100$ at the local Harbor Freight/Northern Tool and with a few hours of practice come up with something of similar quality.

It's a hi-point carbine
>>
>>32842048
I just want a 120v air cooled TIG machine with a pedal for under $300 ingluding a gas bottle and regulator, is that so much to ask?!
>>
>>32842064
>>32841775
when are the kits coming out?
>>
>>32841995
I don't usually think it's worth it to get cheap guns online. At least around here you can't find ffl for cheaper than $20. Shipping is usually $25 at least. If your price range is only a few hundred bucks that $45 is a significant chunk of the price you're paying--I don't usually find low end guns online for $45 cheaper than I can find them here.
>>
>>32842215
Absolutely no idea, just thought it looked cool and the LOP makes me giggle
>>
>>32841775
>>32842064

Who makes that stock set for the Hi-Point carbines?
>>
>>32842064
nigger what

I have never seen nor heard of those and it doesn't look Hi-pointy. Since when did those exist?
>>
>>32839935
>metro.jpg
>>
>>32839328
I have one. It's weird, but reliable with good care.
Got it for a steal because the guy who pawned it didn't know how to clean the fucker and wedged open the mags, causing it to double feed.

Ultimately nothing wrong with it. Good weapon.
>>
>>32839328
>low cost
>cheap ammo
>now has 20rd mags
have shot, reliable and fun, do it OP
>>
>>32842550
Don't remember, starts with a 'w'

Reverse image search maybe?

>>32842809
They're not out yet, unfortunately.
>>
>>32843110
I happen to have a Hi-Point carbine. As weird as that thing looks, it's no less weird than the rifle as it comes. I might look into that.
>>
>>32839605
Unfortunately for some of us behind enemy lines, California, there aren't too many options for Carbines.
> Sig
> Beretta
> HK
They all pulled their carbines from the roster.

Hi-point may be ugly as sin, but they are cheap and they work.
>>
>>32843161
The PX4 looking body is the best aftermarket IMO
>>
>>32839328
Supposedly they're great. In addition to this to thread, everyone I know that's shot or had one says it's great. They ugly as fuck though and they feel cheap.

It isn't out yet m8s.
>>
>>32839935
It's not that bad, it's just the cheap bi-pod and dirty carpet that throws it off.
>>
Not for what i've seen TS models for. Still nasty zinc shit under cover and plastic.
