And I personally prefer further back towards the receiver to keep the weight back.

Solid , AAA , lowest setting is good for dusk and dawn , sits really low , solid mount and usually around 300-350$. Snagged mine for 220$and will say that 1.5 dot is nice , clear as balls , and low light setting works well.
