I heard MecGar used to make 17 round magazines for the Hi-Power a long time ago, just barely protruding past the grip, but these days, they only do flush fitting 15 round mags (which are a great improvement over the original mags still).

I've even installed a bushing on the 92, and the thing still makes shotgun blasts @15 yards from a rest. I've been told its the twist rate, and at this point I'm convinced - I've tried every brand of 9mm available, and its just a sputter gun in my hands.
