Reminds me of the 30.06 accelerater. No longer available. It was a .22 cal in a teflon jacket sized to fit 30 cal barrel. Left no rifling groves on bullet so it was taken of the market. I had 2 boxes when they came out. Couldnt group smaller than about 24 inches at 100 yards. Teflon would come off upon exiting barrel and bullets became unstable is my guess

When I lived in Alaska the go to round was 300 win mag followed by 7mm rem mag. A lot of us carried 30-06 for brush guns because they'd do the job but I've seen monster moose dropped on the spot with 300 win.
