The FAMAS? Mediocre and dated, about time they replaced it, the 416 will serve France well.

The Croatian VHS? I honestly couldn't tell you, I know there were many developmental models which all had a different action, and one of them looked like it tried to imitate the FAMAS very closely, same grenade rings, same grenade sights, same charging handle under the same carry handle.
The VHS2 which they arrived at, looks fairly different, it has an adjustable length of pull, a rarity on bullpups, and a bunch of rails.
It was also gas operated (can't remember in which way), so it's generally going to be more dependable in the same caliber as opposed to the lever delayed action of the FAMAS, which mandated stronger brass to function reliably.
