I took some pictures today. I painted the pro black and put the MBUS Pros on the 14.5". Sighted it all on and did some drills with the AR and USP45.

And yeah, it had a couple things going for it over the Glock (gen3 at the time)--interchangeable back straps and better factory sights. But the trigger was worse and they had issues with mechanical accuracy prior to the gen1.5 with the Shield trigger. And the Shield trigger still isn't great (and Apex kits cost more than Ghost kits for a glock despite doing the same thing).

Honestly, if anything is a Glock killer, it'd be the FNS. Which is better in every regard (mechanical accuracy, factory sights, factory trigger, grip angle, lack of finger grooves) while being about $200 cheaper (they're ~$350).

Wearing my back up beater dw- 6900 after my luminox(ronda 515) fog up on day i went off and rode bicycle for 14 miles after hot morning shower i worn it 24/7 in bed&in shower for over year and i brought it used probably 3years old already by time i got it. I opened her up that very day after i got back home.

Keeping it upside whole time to avoid dust containment i removed backplate and saw the problem it was bowed and the seal was deformed near bracket lug on each side and on near side of watch its pristine. I knew screwing back plate> screw down back plate but never again.

I clean whole sealing area and lube whole area and o ring with that caramel colored lithium grease that geissele trigger come with. Then took watch ourdoor in color air and air it out then took it into freezer and put back plate on her in freezer to reduce humidity level inside watch. Since fogging up and recovering in freezer it kept time this would do until i send it back for servicing and if i feel price is too high i will just pick up new similar sized o ring from some watch part online.

Up to point of fogging up its good fucking beater watch.

Oh and when opening it up it was already contaminated with dust.

Ronda 515 movement's gold but luminox goober it up.

My next watch must have tritium&good movement but it wont be luminox.

Eh, dunno if my buddy got a lemon or not but he had a P320 in .357 Sig and the trigger SUCKED. Like, early-gen P250 long and heavy. Close to an inch of total trigger movement, mushy non-tactile and long reset, and it was consistently at 8.8lbs according to my trigger pull gauge.

He replaced it with an aftermarket trigger and it's good now, but holy jesus it was like S&W SD-series bad.

Bottom left there's bamboo leaf that wedged its way near seal it could contribute to seal failure.

Seal should be replaced every year if you are diver and two if not. It went way beyond that plus i didnt hold it back from harsh chemical such as some soap,gasoline, yadada. Showering with it daily. That hot and cold contract n expland the polycarbon case+backplate went thur over and over for over 365 time.

Also theres water pressure coming from shower thats watch killer knowing they are meant to be resist to even applied water pressure.

I miss being able to glance at watch in pitch black and tell time verse reaching and activating illumination on my classic gshock

My biggest fear is after I get a PPK that it will replace my current gun as my EDC and my P38k build is too cool to not carry. Here's a pic of the current holster I use and how far away it holds off my body.

The Walther CCP is a nice middle ground between compact and full size.

It's still cool to have though. I like my TLR 3, it comes with a thing to attach it to the USP without a whole other adapter.

The sling is fine for me, I kinda throw it to the side though. I can pull it up a bit and it'll even stay hiked up alongside my pack. I should get a two point though just to have, but for my purposes (carbine classes and hog hunting) the one point does fine.
