Alright /k/. All dickwaving aside, whats your favorite gun(that you own)?

It doesnt have to be the best, the most expensive, the most reliable, or the most historic, it just has to be the one gun in your collection that brings you the most happiness.

Pic related is mine.

Ayy! I've got the 4in barrel version for that A E S T H E T I C.

Is yours in good enough condition that you can push up on the latch with your thumb and flick it open? I got mine in like new condition, it's gorgeous.

Probably my trapdoor rifle tbqh.
>that ping it makes when I open the breach and eject the massive .45-70 cases
>the satisfying puff of smoke and pungent smell when I fire blackpowder loads
>the thoughts that race through my mind as I imagine everything the rifle's seen not only when it was used as a combat weapon, but when it was used by every man in my family since the early 20th century
>that brief moment of silence between the discharge of the weapon and the impact on the steel targets when you're firing at long distances

I like revolvers more than semis, they're better as a collector and for leisure at the range, what a pleasure to shoot. (though I typically carry a glock for practical purposes) but I would not feel like I own an actual revovler unless I own a .357

By far my favorite revolver cartridge. I don't know if it's just me but I associate revolvers with .357magnum.

So versatile. You can shoot cheap. 38special out of it for the range.

It's mind blowing because S&W would sell so many more guns without the lock. I have no fucking clue why they keep doing it. They already make m&p and shield versions without any kind of safety so why the fuck wont the drop that disgusting hole already

The 226 is an X-Five Allround - so it's not a slouch in the accuracy department either - but yeah I can get a better grip on it. Additionally, I haven't spent much time doing load development for the P210 so that's probably part of it too.

The sight picture on the P210 is much better for my eyes than the P226, that being said.

Without a doubt my PM. This pistol was a labour of love pretty much because I bought it as a frame, slide, and barrel with no finish whatsoever from some fudd shop near Helen, Georgia. I spent 3-4 years on and off gathering parts for it and hot blued it and assembled it back into a functioning PM. This gun did save my ass a few times, but that's a story best saved for a innawoods thread.

Perfect for me and cheap to shoot.

I'm also that range trash that shoots skeet with a pump action 12 ga

Winchester model 190 .22lr that i got for Christmas when 12? Safety doesnt work any more so i rarely use it. Only in my yard. What a perfect gun to learn with as i grew up.

I remember Sig Sauer had a line of 'classic' SG rifles but is that the same thing?

How did you acquire these? How much for em? God I want one.
>>
>>32806572
Yes they are real Swiss made. The 551 owner looks like he is Swiss where as I'm Murican.

The Sig classic line is not the same thing as a San Swiss made rifle.

There was a time where the 553 pistol could be bought for $2600 and Form 1'd into a rifle. Those days are gone as they have not been imported for a while now. If you do find one expect tp pay $4000 for one in the US.

>whats your favorite gun(that you own)

My repro M1 Carbine. I saw it on the shelf of a Cabelas used section with the wrong company name, and for the price of a old beat to shit relic of the gun and managed to buy it for 400 dollars less than MSRP. They caught it when I was buying it, but by then you can't do anything. I ended up throwing a rail on the front and putting a little aimpoint on it. It's fun as fuck, actually makes a 'pew' noise, and it's pretty effective. The whole 'useless past 100 yards' is a meme that needs to die. Also the sights are shit.

great for the money. Stays zeroed. I haven't abused it so I can only go by what others say and assume it would hold up pretty well. I have had it for some time - 3 or 4 years anyway. It seems solid. Really helps on a rifle like an M92 that has super shitty irons.

My only complaint is that in bright light, you get a reflection in your sight picture of the, reticle projector, if you will. What ever you want to call it. This is only in direct sunlight, and even then, it is very minor. It doesn't bother me very much. Something to keep in mind though.

Reposting, cause the contrast on the last pic got fucked up somewhere in translation. Either this or my Sharps. I can't find a pic of the Sharps at the moment.

It was a Griswold and Gunnison reb pistol in the first season only. Pietta makes a replica. The rest of the seasons he used a Colt.

It says 350 now, but I'd bet after a day of bidding and shipping it'll finish at $450 or so. I'll bid either way.

They've got another one in a pretty similar condition for the same price. They don't get bid up too much. Plus, if you don't mind waiting, they seem to restock fairly regularly. Lots of opportunities if you take your time.

How has it held up with extended shooting? I want to get into upland game hunting and while I don't buy into the "you need a $2000 silver pidgeon because I say so" meme, I do want something that I can reliably put at least a thousand rounds through

The longer I live, the more I feel like old skeet shooters are only getting mad at people who don't buy $1500+ skeet guns because it ruins their "old boys club" feeling. Some people just can't stand the fact that someone with a $300 shotgun can outshoot them with their $2000 name brand browning>>32806279

Well half the reason us people with 18-20 inch barrels are so much better than them is because the spread out of a 24 inch barrel is going to be considerably tighter, making it much more difficult than someone letting loose with a 20 inch pump action.
>>

I've put about 500 rounds through it and I got it used so pretty sure it's been through at least 1k rounds or close to it. Haven't seen any signs of eventual failure yet, hopefully it'll stay that way.

Maybe the reliability issues people report are about the more recent model, I don't know. It feels solid as fuck even after multiple afternoons busting clays.

I don't want to lose it ;_;

Muh SCAR 17s. No pics on phone, but I have the Vltor AR stock adapter with an Emod on it, G trigger, long MREX rail, cut to fit K2 grip, and Magpul selectors. Waiting for the new Trijicon 1-8 to come out later this year. Still want to replace the charging handle, and I need to buy a sling (+the QD adapter things)
