I don't mind the transfer fee - I figured i would just go to Turner's and their fee is $80. I know it's a bit more - but as I said, i was going to drop $1500 on an M1a.

I wanted an M1a and I also wanted a Mosin, but I figured with this (aside from how good the reviews were), it would satisfy my craving for full stock wooden bolt action that shoots a hard hitting round that isn't that expensive and i don't need to worry if I picked up a shit rifle.

Personally I'd just save for the m1a or get a milsurp boltgun in 30-06 or similar
