Alright, so I've been looking for a knife that's exactly/similar to the Bowie knife from Fallout New Vegas, but so far I've gotten no luck with such thing.
Could anyone help out with this?

Try a karambit. I hear they're fairly similar.

>Karambit
I'm not a retard, anon.
I can't recall seeing a Bowie that has a guard shaped like that.
Kult of Athena has a shitton of similar bowie's..
Early American daggers/knives category, Got this fucker for 30 bucks....

That's pretty close, yeah.
The blade geometry is off, sadly.
That handle on a blade like >>32789787 would be pretty close.
>>32789621
what's most important? blade shape? grip? guard?
>>32789831
True.
However, it is too small.
I need a BIG knife with a similar guard and pommel.
>>32789842
Mostly guard.
>>32789855
with a little file work and some dye this would get you close

Holy fuck.
We're getting close.

Thank you, Anon.
Best NV knife coming through
This one kinda looks like a KABAR big brother, just that it has a sawback all down its spine

Already have a survival one.
Not a big fan of them to be honest.

Basically that knife minus the handle, which is ka-bar inspired.

SOG SEAL

Too tactical
SOG Bowie
Blade size and grip ratio look ok with this one; you could probably mod it.

Thanks for the good suggestions, anon.

Not to detract from the thread, but I've heard that a lot of these $20-$40 bowies can be modified and sharpened into pretty usable tools.
Anyone have experience with these? I've even heard that this particular model has a full tang, no partial or rat-tail.
>>32790906
Timber Rattler Outlaw is the best pick.
Full tang, big and thick, all there is to mine is to make it razor sharp.

what is the steel like on these guys?
is it enough to hold an edge for a few days in the woods or it is some worthless chinkshit that cant cut a sheet of paper without stuggling

No clue about the Boker Magnum, the Timber rattler is TR65 stainless steel.
Get a real knife you can use.
