it's like piercing your younger sister's ears at home. She wants you to do it so bad she can barely contain herself. Then you sit her down and hand her a pillow to scream into while you sterilize a safety pin with your lighter. She watches it get red hot, transfixed on what it's going to do to her. You lay her face down in your lap with the pillow underneath her, and then slowly take her cute little ear in your hand. She tenses up instantly and you joke it hasn't even started yet. Then you let the safety pin cool down a little bit and touch it to her ear. She flinches again, you feel her entire body go stiff. You hold it until she relaxes and then pierce her each. She screams into the pillow and begins to cry before you tell her to toughen up or mom is going to kill the two of you. She quickly gets quiet and you pull the pin out in a similarly quick motion, then grab some gauze and ice cubs to tend to the wound. The other ear goes about as well, though she has toughened up substantially since she knows what to expect. The next thing you know she's sitting indian style infront of you, admiring her bloody, swollen ears in a hand held mirror. She thanks you profusely though tears as she deals with the pain and excitement. As she gets up, you grab her hand and tell her she's going to need earrings or the holes will close and you'll have to do it again. As her face twists to a look of hopelessness as she realizes she doesn't have any cash for earrings, you hand her a little box. Inside are two starter earrings which are designed to help freshly pierced ears stay open. She opens the box and looks at you with a starry-eyed amazement that only kids seem to be capable of. She doesn't say anything though, more tears seem to well up out of nowhere and she runs out of the room. You don't hear much from her over the rest of the night, but you know you did well.

I got mine for a song. I dont really mind the cerakote except on the rear sight, but it came with a new 16 round mag. The 15 rounders look way better

The only pre-B mags I know of have the extended baseplate. It'd be easy to swap those out, though.
That's a great looking piece, you can find some awesome deals on pre-Bs these days. I love the wood grips. I was thinking about picking that exact set up for mine, how do you like them?

They're indented into the frame so that seems difficult. If it's sharper and more grippy when I strip the polycoat I don't see a good reason to get rid of it. Plus it's super snowflake on a frame without a rail.

They were a bit loose when i first got them. The right side could wiggle back and forth but a bit of sanding gave it a better fit.
The dot checkering provides a way better grip than i expected.
They are a little thicker than the standard plastic grips i think but they make the gun stupid comfortable, and theyre the best looking grips

Deep cut smooth bumps. Literally the worst kind of extra grip they could have added I really hate it.
