Personal suggestions:

SAR K2P. Full size poly CZ75 clone that will take mecgar cz mags. Can still be found for under $300 and was great while I had it.

Zastava CZ999. Sig 226 clone. Full metal frame, and used by Serbian forces/police. Bought mine for $280 and has since been fine. Has a pretty nice trigger too.

I was thinking about Sig P320, should i just go with a glock 19?

The 320 is a great pistol right out of the box. Has one of the best triggers on a striker fired, and it comes with tritium sights. I carry a 320 compact every day, have shot about 2,000 rounds without any major hiccups.

I love my CZ-P09.

I've never had a malfunction with my Springfield XD in 1000+ rounds so far. Just today it ate shitty USA forged ammunition with hard primers that my CZ-75 AND my buddies Glock 17 couldn't function with.

Accuracy has been fine. Picked it up from SOG for ~$280. In all honesty, best purchase so far. I have had M88a before it, and that was fine too. You can get basic holsters for it, or just get someone to make you a kydex.

Aside from a mandatory sight upgrade the aftermarket for Glock isn't really necessary either though.

For $500 you can get any good pistol really. Glock, M&P, CZ, and a shit ton of other guns. Polymer 9mm pistols are real popular right now and just about all of them are $500.

I bought the Sig P320C about a year and a half ago. I have put about 6000 rounds through it. It is just about a perfect gun.

However, it might be hard to find and over priced right now since the army chose it.... That is the only concern.

The good news is it has a chrome lined barrel made from the some stock as thier machine guns. The barrel will prolly aoutlast the frame. Some saying it should be fine for 300k rounds.

The Canik 55TP9SA seems to be one of the best deals going at the moment if you have no aversion to purchasing a plastic 9.

The SA offers excellent --and necessary-- improvements over the Canik 55TP9, including a slick trigger group with Glock-like safety, better de-cocker, and a new loaded chamber indicator. It comes with a box load of case candy-- holster, extra 18 round mag, cleaning tools, a lock, everything but a fleshlight.

Supposedly, they've been tested to 50,000 rounds, and a couple Jewtubers have been filming pretty tight groups at plinking sessions.

$279.95 at J&G right now. I don't GAF if it was made in Turkey, for the price, I'll pick up a case of 9mm, too, without busting the budget.

I read some blog writeup from a guy who got a tour of the Girsan factory, and the relatively highly trained technicians running and maintaining the machinery get paid the equivalent of American minimum wage.
