Repealing the sanctions isn't going to get you one of those. We would need to get rid of o amend the Clinton-era deal that default banned all firearms from Russia except those exempted by name.

it would be nice if any euro anons could comment on price.

Only russian firearms listed in the VRA (Voluntary restraint agreement) are permitted to be imported into the U.S, the SKS,SVT, and SVD didn't make the exemption list, it would take a act of congress to undue it on our side.

Then it would take change in russian law on their end to undue, it was a joint between the U.S AND russia, russia also agreed to never allow them for export to the U.S

It's such a subjective line. The text of the VRA states "Saige rifle" and "Vepr rifle" and the shotguns are okay to be imported. Even though the shotguns are about as related to an AK47 as an SVD is.

AKs would still on their own be about the $500 mark, maybe more for the snow flake special ones like the 74U.
Suppressors would also probably still cost about the same as the gun, except the snow flake ones because MUH RUSSIAN MADE.
Granted if the HPA goes through and deregulates suppressors, everyone and their mother would be making their own suppressors.
Which, desu, someone should buy some of those maglite kits before that happens, because after that goes through, those kits would likely skyrocket in price.

More likely drop like a rock because everyone with a machine shop will be getting manufacturer paperwork to sell complete units and make 80-percent kits that aren't shit. If HPA goes thru there's no need to nig together core plugs and flashlight tubes when you can turn a much higher profit making better cans. Best way to turn a quick dollar or many would be to find a used manual "chucker"/turret lathe. Some machinists can beat CNC cycle times with those on simple parts which is what they are mostly intended to produce.
