I'm looking for a 9mm/.45 MAC 10/11 to satisfy my raging hard on for 80s stuff. How do I go about finding one that isn't a jamomatic gangbanging 90s relic?

Buy TEC9 while you are at it.
OH WAIT YOU CANT

Buy a Masterpiece Arms one and just replace the hammer with the old one that they sell on their site. So many people would bitch about the trigger that they incorporated a new disconnecter into the hammer and it really isn't that durable.

i have an old cobray m11, get one with metal mags and you're good to go. Cheap plastic mags tend to make it jam, but never had an issue with metal ones.

This, My M11/9 works gud, trigger slap sucks but with the rubber boot on helps to minimize it. Also get the Hanger, pretty simple install, very affordable... and really complete's the look

Weird. I had an M11/9 a coon's age ago, and while it did jam with Zytel mags, I never had any trigger slap issues.
Also, OP gon' need the DeSantis carry holster for it.

The only issues I had with the zytels were with wad cutter / flat headed FMJ ammo, the squared off ammo would hang up, but standard ball ammo on mine works good.
In addition to the holster a fake can also looks bitchen
>TFW I wanted to get a second M11/9 pistol, Weld on a wire stock in the open state, add the hanger, and silver solder a fake can to make a rifle, but the fake cans on the market are too short so I scrubbed the project >:( . Possibly one day I will resurrect it though
OP I'd bet money anyone could make a Mac with a a file, tin snips, sheet metal, tubing, and springs.
Those things aren't worth shit IMO

haven't had trigger slap on mine, maybe since it was an early model, but it for sure isn't the most amazing trigger.

Pick one. The only thing that makes mass produced products valuable is scarcity/rarity, caused by age or legislation.
Basically the only way they are worth anything is if the advantages of mass production get negated.
Either way, you end up overpaying.
