Who is buying it?? Also general build thread
>>
>>32774232
Building your own gun always sounded interesting to me but I'm not too familiar with the details.

How much money would it take to build a semi-automatic from parts.

Also I run into the problem of California gun laws.
>>
>>32774269
A completed upper for this flock is $450 the lower parts kit is $150 and the frame is $150 so that's about $750. For an ar 15 it's about $500 or $600
>>
>>32774316
>750 fucking dollars for a Glock
What a shit deal, why would you even bother with this?
>>
>>32774335
For building you cuck or a persenolized serial number
>>
>>32774356
Stupid.
>>
I don't buy plastic guns
>>
>>32774356
Is personol some type of paint?
>>
>tfw missed out on hoarding glock uppers before these 80%'s got popular

I could have made a fortune. There was a time when you could get a complete glock parts kit sans frame for $200-300 max.
>>
>>32774316
occasionally parts kits of questionable origin turn up on gunbroker.
>>
>>32774356
what the fuck is the point of building it if it costs you $300 more than it should
>>
ITT: poorfags crying about being poor
It's fucking funny

>>32774905
>ITP
>richfag floating his ego on how much money he wastes on a purchase
>>
>>32774335
Technically you could buy the parts and an 80 frame in NY and then have an illegal unregistered handgun. It takes forever just to get a pistol permit here.
>>
>>32774905
Where do people get the idea that people with money enjoy wasting it?
>>
>>32774980
This
Many of the wealthiest people I know are also the most penny-pinching people I know
>protip: that is part of the reason they became wealthy in the first place
>>
>>32774670
You can still get 19/23 police trade in kits for about that much. I expect they're gonna go up in price once the 80% 19 lowers come out.
>>
>>32774316
>A completed upper for this flock is $450
Try $250 to $300
>>32774799
no serial number
get a handgun under 21
get a handgun in cuck states
>>
>>32775397
>no serial number
Yes, there has to be a serial number.
>get a handgun under 21
Private sale.
>get a handgun in cuck states
What states exist where you can't buy a handgun in a private sale at 18?
>>
>>32774980
It's not that I waste money but I don't use price as the sole factor in all decisions like these poorfags who have no choice but to do everything like that.
You pay a little more but you get a nice custom frame. You could go buy a stock pistol for less but to build a copy of this with all the options you may want might actually cost more since you are buyings factory parts only to swap them for aftermarket parts.
>>
>>32774961
You could also just, you know, buy a fucking gun illegally if breaking the law isn't an issue.
>>
>>32775506
Most states that require a permit to own a handgun, NY, CA, cuck states.
I can't even legally touch a handgun in NY without a pistol permit/NRA certified instructor with me.
>>
>>32775935
ca has no permit to own. theres a thing for buying and one for carrying but nothing for owning.
>>
>>32775935
You don't need a permit to own a handgun in CA, there's just a godawful handgun roster that has such unrealistic requirements that it's pretty much impossible to get new guns on it.
>>
>>32776121
>>32776137
My bad then, I just knew they had godawful laws that are worse than NY's in some areas.
>>
>>32775130
Where can you buy those trade in kits?
I've been looking but havent found any glock kits that arent the same price as a used glock.
>>
>>32776264
I see them going for 250-300 all the time on gunbroker. 17s and 22s go for substantially more, I'm guessing because an 80% frame for them is already out.
>>
>>32775506
No serial number is required.
>>
>>32776451
Huh, I'll have to look a bit harder than. Thanks
>>
>>32775506
It's built. There won't be a serial number on it unless you put one on it and register it. They ship the 80% lower to your house. Trackin?
>>
I like the idea but I could buy two used from Tyron that are even more under the radar.

If the rest of the parts were cheap or atlest reasonable it would be cool ,but glock parts cost as much or more than AR parts. We need surplus glock gen 1 kits or something.
>>
>>32774709
>questionable origin
Probably police trade ins considering most are Glock 22s or 23s and have trijicon night sights.
>>
>>32774232
When is it coming out?
>>
>>32774335

That's nothing. Look at Salient arms. Spend more for one of their glocks. Same for their hipoint.
>>
>>32779468
In February you can preorder it at glock store.com
>>
>>32774335
150 for unproven plastics. Fuck that. 75 I would be in like flynn, I have a g19 that NEEDS rails.

Different kind of build. Its an ep armory lower and a 300blk upper.
>>
>>32780154
How does the polymer hold up? I've been researching polymer 80% lowers and the ep one is definitely the most affordable.
>>
>>32774232
I got one of the kits and built my glock before prices went retarded. I did the standard spectre 80 for 125 (pre order) got my g34 slide barrel and sights for under 400 with parts kit. built a new g34 for like 550 - felt good. I do not think these are worth what the kits cost now (glock parts) but man are they easy to build. Literally took me like 30 minutes.
>>
>>32781684
I'm very jealous wish I bought one sooner. How many rounds do you have through it?!
>>
>>32784519
It's not impossible to find glock parts kits at that price. I just saw a G23C parts kit sell for 360 on gunbroker.
>>
>>32785054
Gonna have to look on there
