You were only right about the sks. The other two is an akm (middle) and an ak74 (bottom) no 'u'. If it was an ak74u it would be an sbr version of that rifle.

Love my SKS, and shoots well. But I have no idea how my father and brother somehow have it not fire its bullet. Inspected every part of it, lubed it, and the firing pin moves well enough.

Guess she has a mind of her own and likes me.

When I checked the date on mine it was a 1965, the one above the picture of yours. The Czechs know how to build great weapons! Mine appeared unissued when I received it.

I think the spikes only came in on later Norinco models, especially the commercial export models they made in the 80's, I have one of those brand new too but prefer the blade on my military Czech.
