There's a lot of factors that go into it. Some people could CC a mk23 and not print, other people couldn't CC a Beretta Nano without printing.

I love my P2000SK, but it prints out my ass in my jeans, you can see a bulge if I'm not wearing a jacket or sweater. Winter for now, I'll have to adjust the holster to sit higher in the summer though. Otherwise does a good job not printing.

Rami was too heavy for my taste, but was my second choice.

Sig P938 was third and best choice imo, but I couldn't comfortably carry it condition 0 because it's a single action, which kind of killed it for me.

OP here, some LxHxW comparisons for some subcompacts

the other irrational fear I have is these subcompact pistols don't have an external safety. they either have a trigger safety or the saftey is the DA... is this a legitimate concern? still fairly new to carrying and i don't want to be the dumbass that accidentally shoot themselves

Train with your weapon, and train, and train more, and then train some more. Drills are more important that focusing on pure accuracy at the range, draw, fire 3 rounds, holster, repeat. Have a bud load in dummy rounds. The idea is to have a weapon capable of firing the second you draw it. The more in between you touching your gun and pulling the trigger, the more reaction time whoever you are shooting at is going to have.

I'm a pretty hefty guy. but I can carry my gun in an Alien Gear holster inside the waist at the 3 o'clock position and still keep it un-noticed. At least no one has yet.
