CZ is coming out with a suppressor ready 527 carbine in 300 blackout or 7.62x39.

I want to buy one for HPA. Which would be superior? I like the cost of 7.62 but I'm unsure how it would handle suppression.
>>
>>32743978
It's a bolt action so velocity doesn't matter in terms of reliability or usage.

You can down-load 7.62 to subsonic, and you can up-load .300 to 2200 FPS.

So there's no practical difference between the two, but .300 being a western cartridge, I would believe it to be more easily reloadable and more easy to develop precision loads.
>>
>>32743978

Better than the aac micro 7? Or just different?
>>
>>32744152
Either way will I have to reload? I know all the steel case bulk stuff will be supersonic but it would be nice to have the economic option.

I have read that 7.62 x 39 is a bitch to reload for but 300 BLK is easy

>>32744176
wat
>>
If you want the superior round in my opinion, without taking in costs and such, you should go with the 300 blackout, it is very nice to shoot.
>>
I like CZ a lot...but the Ruger American Ranch already exists and is $315 out the door. I don't see the point in spending more than that for a subsonic shenanigans gun.
>>
>>32744213

What's the advantage over the Remington/AAC Micro 7 rifle in .300 blackout?

Just that this is a CZ and not Remington?

I like CZ, and I've been thinking of a blackout rifle for fun since I have two suppressors rated for it that can't handle stronger calibers.
>>
>>32744733
I might try to get into reloading I'm not sure. It sounds like you need to be to actually shoot 300 BLK.

I'm also curious as to the range you can get out of sub 300 BLK? 400 yard max?

>>32744755
I dunno I've just had a huge 527 boner ever since I held one and my 452 is my favorite rifle. It is expensive though. That's true.

>>32744937
I'm not buying Remington personally.
>>
>>32743978
300 meme hot is the new round to have.
>>
>>32745127
Just looked up and subsonic is over 70 cents a fucking round

Jesus Christ

I want a bolt gun in .45 ACP like the old Enfield's lmao.

I have no clue about reloading but If I go that route that's probably going to have to be a must.
>>
>>32744960
>sub 300 BLK? 400 yard max?
Try 50 yards
>>
>>32743978
7.62x39 can have 50% more powder behind it, be loaded just as subsonic, and has decent sub-25cpr ammo available.

It's kind of a bitch to find .311/.312 bullets, but most non-AK 7.62x39 actually use .308 barrels allowing you to use the same bullets you would use to load 300BLK while still leaving open cheap ammo.

I can tell you that 124gr Wolf Military Classic hollow points do good work on deer.
>>
>>32745218
Ah being able to use 308 bullets is interesting if that's the case it makes it a bit more desirable.

I wonder if the 527 is that way.
>>
>>32745218
Well I just realized if youre handloading anyway you could just handload .308 to subsonic levels as well. .308 sounds more versatile if reloading
>>
>>32744213
I see subsonic .300 BLK for sale in plenty of places, but I don't see subsonic x39 anywhere.
>>
>>32745150
>shooting 300blk
>not reloading
what kind of idiot would do this? shits cheap as fuck when you load it yourself.
>>
>>32745695
Ya even Google searching I didn't really find much. For x39 it would have to be reloads. Of course the price of black would make reloads necessary too.

>>32745726
Because some of us idiots have no experience with reloading at all, how long it takes etc.
>>
>>32745732
reloading is like cooking, If you can follow directions you are good to go.
>>
>>32746017
Is it time consuming? How long would it take to make 200 rounds with a starter reloading set ?

I am getting an AR soon so I will have brass.
>>
>>32746027
Figure 25-50 an hour when starting.
With good equipment, practice, and a progressive press 5-600 an hour is easily doable.
>>
>>32746027
I did like 350 38's in 5ish hours. I had deprimed them and sized them before hand though. Also it was my 2nd time actually reloading. This was on a classic lee press. I have no doubt that you can go faster. I really want a progressive press. that way I can use trail boss(extremely safe powder to use) and pump out thousands in the same time.
>>
>>32745726

I don't reload because I buy several thousand rounds at a time and I'd rather spend my time doing things I actually enjoy.

Like shooting.

But hey, if you don't mind spending your time reloading, go for it. People look at me funny when I tell them I enjoy sharpening knives. Hobbies are neat.
>>
>>32745695
>>32745732
You can find 7.62x39 subs, but here's the thing: subs suck. If you're shooting deer you want 110-125gr, and the same goes for two legged game. Pistols suck, and subsonic 30cal 220gr is basically 45 with a shittier cross section. Subs are great to have, but only when you're plinking quietly, going full Taxi Driver, or poaching.
>>
>>32746090
While I'll agree with you(I too sharpen my knives by hand). Most people seem to have this time=money attitude I don't know about you but I just cant suddenly make money. so my time is worthless. But I can make it worth something if I reload a save tons of money in the process.
>>
>>32746061
>>32746082
Wow that takes forever holy shit

I might just not even bother with this idea

>>32746121
I want it for plinking and other stuff
>>
>>32746152
Plinking at 2400fps is a lot better than 1000fps, and you need to wear earpro at the range anyway. Subs are pretty much only good for showing how quiet the gun can be and for backyard shooting.
>>
>>32746322
I don't go to ranges I have land and room in the back for some shooting.
>>
>>32743978
What about a suppressor ready .22?
>>
>>32746152

110gr Hornady VMax for durr and dequan
Wolf Military Classic 124gr Hollow Point for everything else
>>32745253
>>32745413
It's .300 land to land and .311 groove to groove, so you can definitely load .308 and in fact most subsonic are.
>>
>>32746350
I want one of those as well. More so than anything else honestly but I also want a center fire. I'm real into the idea of suppressors .

>>32746421
Most subsonics are what?

300 BLK sounds like a good start to reloading but I just don't know that it would be cost or time effective
>>
>>32745150
>I want a bolt gun in .45 ACP like the old Enfield's lmao.
Rhineland Arms 45 ACP kit for Mausers
>>
>>32746337
>>32746440
Most 7.62x39 subs are actually .308 not .311. 7.62x39 isn't really any harder to reload, it's just harder to find decent brass to reload. You'll also have to learn annealing.

Reloading sucks. I would actually consider Freedom Munitions if they made some 220gr 7.62x39 subs.
>>
>>32746519
That's pretty interesting.

>>32746573
They have 300blk subs but they're fuckin 70 cents a round
>>
>>32746596
They normally run around 50cpr, but are more right now. Special shit always dries up around SHOT.
>>
>>32746708
Reading about the time sink that is reloading I'm getting put off by this stuff. Just doesn't sound reasonable or cost effective.

If I could do the 5-6 hundred rounds an hour. Yeah that'd be different but I doubt it.

50 CPR is too much for something I'm just doing for fun except on rare occasions.
>>
>>32746738
>50 CPR is too much for something I'm just doing for fun except on rare occasions
It's a bolt gun, do you really shoot that much in one sitting?
>>
>>32746765
You should see me when I got my .22 bolt gun lmao

I suppose not honestly I could just stick to .22 or something else when I want cheaper shooting just thinking about 50 CPR for shooting steel is painful though. it's what I'll be doing 99 percent of the time.
>>
If the HPA passes will building your own suppressor be legal like an 80% lower?
>>
>>32747502
Yes suppressors would be treated the same as long guns.

I can't wait for the 80 percent suppressors

>Buy 80 percent Suppressor
>Drill hole
>Done
