Do these things "feel comfortable" if you know what I mean?
>>
I can't imagine it would feel good but if your dicks small enough to fit than with enough lube it would work.
>>
>>32738907
One time I would like an answer on /k/ that's not a half assed attempt at being funny
>>
>>32738887
I think they're fine just from my experience of holding one. I have never fired one with that brace but the sig brace on an AK pistol seems normal. It didn't feel noticeably different from a regular stock.
>>
>>32738887
Yes just fucking buy one.
>>
>>32738887
>>32738944
The back is really hard to get a shoulder weld with. I don't own one, and I've totally never shouldered one, but I can tell you that one of those retarded cheek rest things that look like the top of a sopmod stock works better.

yes
>>
>>32738887
not that i would know but the sig brace is more comfortable according to my friend
>>
Yes they feel fine, a little hard feeling without a pad but I'd you're just using 223 it doesn't matter, adding a cheek rest which isn't illegal to do makes it even better since there isn't much to reset your cheek on anyway. I have one on my imitation mk18 and I love it.
>>
>>32738887
Yes. Go for it.
>>
>>32739137
What barrel length and handguard length? I want that handguard on my 11.5" barrel with a flaming pig brake and I want it to cover a bit of the brake.
>>
>>32739168
post gun pls
>>
>>32739133

Are you talking about the Thorsden one?

Cool, thanks.

are you sure the pig will fit under the handguard?

It's not terrible, just not as comfortable as a regular stock. It's fine.

(I realize my hand stop is backwards. It's been fixed)
>>
>>32738887

Why is everyone obsessed with getting the smallest gun possible? It seems like a dick measuring contest but in reverse it's hysterical
>>
>>32739315
Personally I like big handguns and small (((rifles)))
>>
>>32739315
short guns are fun to shoot and are great for things like truck guns.

I am also building a side charger
Have you heard of Bear Creek?
>>
>>32739302
No. I might have to go with a different handguard. I was also looking at these KAK brakes and they have a slim model but that kind of defeats the purpose because I like the look of the pig brake.
>>
>>32739339
something wrong bb?

its rebranded moores machine, dont get anything from them.

>>32739356
im sure you can find the measurements of both online.
>>
>>32739339
>he apparently doesnt know 10.3 is as short as you can go and still fragment reliably
>>
>>32739343
Bear Creek Arsenal I'm assuming? For the price they offer theirs, it seems to be a fair price, especially since it comes with their own BCG, however I've never personally used one or seen reviews for it. I absolutely love my side charger though.

This is completely unrelated to OP, but if you want to protect the hole in the rear of your forearm stabilizer from getting dirt in it, you could try pic related.
>>
>>32739373
What would you recommend other than bear Creek then? I really wanted a right side charger
>>
>>32739417
i wouldnt recommend any side charger. whats your budget?
>>
>>32739401
I thought putting a pad on the back turned it into a stock? Or maybe that was just a dream I had
I'm pretty sure it was just in a dream

.01" off. Looks like I'll have to use the slimline.
>>
>>32739472
eisenach arms makes a right side, i dont know anyone else that does. desu tho i really dont recommend a side charger unless its just for fun/range.

>>32739489
rip
>>
>>32739436
I do not know what you are talking about, nor would I condone manufacturing an ess bee ar by redesigning the product in question into a "pad."

>>32739444
I can't find any new info on it. I guess it's vaporware.
>>
>>32739541
It is just for fun, I'm bored of my regular old A2, and I'm putting a fostech echo trigger in it for endless bumpfire shenanigans
But I'd still like to hear why you don't recommend it
>>
>>32739554
>I guess it's vaporware.
figures

>>32739590
its a solution for a problem that does not exist. most of them use a proprietary part or two that can cause failures. if its just for fun then go for it but you most of them are left side.

why not build something more modern if you are bored of your a2?
>>
>>32739652
Because I am picky. I want something that barely resembles an AR because autism

It's just a little sliver cut out of the receiver and a little charging handle drilled into the side of the bolt where are the critically failing proprietary parts?

I have a bear creek side charging upper. Charging knob will get loose so use loctite
Other than that its fine, same quality as any other budget upper: PSA, Rock River etc

You could probably zip-tie a rubber pad to it and get away with it.
>>
>>32739949
Who knows with the ATF goons, better to just get a sig brace and be done with it.

Any experience with the XM177 sound moderators?

I know a lot of people make reproductions that are compensators or hollow inside, but the original had baffles.

I do wonder how well it worked, and if it was worthwhile on their short barreled XM rifles. It's just surprising no one has wasted a tax stamp to try it out and tell the world about it imo.

pic related, the core that has a sleeve welded around it.
