What is /k/'s opinion on 7mm-08?

If you want a comfortable shooting round with flat trajectory at long range then the 260 rem (6.5-08) is a better round IMO

My brother has a savage axis in this caliber and loves it. I would say get a 7mm rem mag. If you like the 7mm 08 get it only you can decide what you want.

After having a creedmoor I realized the 7mm-08 edges it out. Their both a lot alike. The creedmoor is more efficient with its case capacity but the 7mm-08 I think is easier to find ammo for.

I actually switched to 6.5 swede. Yes it's old but for reloaders it's the 6.5 to go with. It just has more case capacity than the other two and components are cheap.

It's efficient and works on everything a .308 will
