What kind of weapon/tactical training do you do?
>>32737099
Tactical reloading while doing a somersault and duel wielding mostly.

Nyet.
>tactical training
I shoot myself daily
Dual weilding, of course
>>32737099
>weapons training
drawing, reloading, shooting on the move, transitioning between targets
>tactical training
barrel rolls

>weapons training
Quick field stripping and re-assembling for the most part.
>training
Ungodly amounts of cardio, might as well not even be armed if you can't run a mile with-out getting winded and dying of a heart attack.
Gunkata
I ascribe to the method of shooting taught by Fairbairn and Sykes in Shooting to Live. I am not fucking kidding. Wish I had access to one of the shoot houses they describe in their book.

what is your mile/5k times anon?
>>32737099
I walk from the refrigerator to my couch and back.
>>32738788
Not same anon but 1mi/8min, typically end up running 1.5 in about 12 minutes. Working on getting it lower. Been nearly a year since I ran and just started this past week.
I get a kick out of some of the photos and tactics in here.
-Long range shooting (500-700 yards)
-Moving targets (100-150 yards)
-5 mile hikes with 76lbs gear
-10 mile hikes with 50 lbs gear
-Night shooting and hiking
-Sprinting, shooting, then sprinting again
-Moving while shooting (from running to fast walking)
-Fast engagements of multiple targets
I plan on addding more cardio to my routine and increasing training intervals. Sprinting then shooting is a very underrated exercise. It dramatically changes your aim when you're breathing heavily

Oh man! Does that bring back memories!
Tactical Edge was the second in a series of books, after Street Survival.
Old stuff. This was when police training was beginning to evolve from modified PPC, flat-range shooting, to more realistic urban combat trainng.
A lot of the stuff in these books is dated, but having a plan, and executing it aggressively & quickly enough is better than standing there in Condition Brown (head up ass).
I subscribe to the Lynn Thompson school of Warrior Training DVD's.

7-ish minutes the first ~2.5 miles then it starts slowing down because I jog w/ 50lbs of added weight to simulate what-ever I might carry.
(I know I should start focusing more on upper body strength but I don't feel like I'm where I want to be in terms of lower body strength yet.)

I just noticed that there are jelly beans falling out of that guy's back pouch
>>32737099
at home i practice clearing stoppages, drawing and aiming at something across the room like a doorknob, tactical and fast reloads, strong arm only reload, and support arm only draw https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2013/7/1/support-hand-shooting/
for rifle i just practice the 4 steps in prone, seated, kneeling, and also "snapshots" where you sit at low ready facing your TV and wait for a "target," like a big letter O or a face or a vehicle or something to pop on the screen, then bring the rifle up and fire off a quick shot before it goes away; the idea is you won't know how long it's up there so it doesn't work if you watch the same show or movie repeatedly.
in class we just do whatever the instructor feels like, i guess, there doesn't seem to be a curriculum. we've done retention drills, various shooting and moving things, getting pounded on with foam pads before a course of fire, a little force-on-force. its all indoor laser and dummy pistol stuff, i'm not ready for shit like thunder ranch or valor ridge just yet
I did MARSOC fitness preparation from the phone app, it helped a lot with core and push ups

I can get my penis out of my pants and begin masturbating in less than three seconds.

I just realized his guns are airshit
>>32737099
Holy shit OP, that image brings back some serious Deja Vu. I had an action figure when I was little of a character with that same face shield and that little red triangle. Never found out what it was from, but it was some cheap flea market figure from like 2001.
How unsurprising
/k/ is is proud of being untrained
>>32738976
Running a mile in 8 minutes isn't bad...if you're running over 5 miles. If that's a single mile then keep it up anon and don't give up.
>>32743168
Savage.
>>32743368
it's sad though. these retards get off on having as many undesirable traits as possible. it's like a cult of handicaps.
>>32737099
i keep my skills up by running through my house dual wielding a .357 and 9mm yelling CLEAR and BREACH from the bathroom to the kitchen. damn cats always scare the shit out of me. if i wasnt so skilled they'd get their heads blown off. Of course, itd be nothin personal.
>>32737099
Just basic Marine training stuff
Shooting the tables, tactical and speed reloads, moving and shooting, basic MOUT, advancing with a fireteam it seems cool but usually the reality isn't as cool as what you would imagine. Also most of your times spent pushing a broom and not pulling a trigger
>>32741649
>50 lbs of added weight
You stop that
It might sound like a good idea, but running with weight is a good way to get serious short and long term injury, especially to the back and knees, but it doesn't offer any significant benefits
Running and lifting weigh should stay seperate. That will safely give you the strength/speed/stamina to perform in a live situation
