Also alot healthier.

you could also make a broth from the chicken for other meals.

you can use the same thought process for a multitude of food and the more you do it the more complex and flavorful your food will get as you expand your cook book.

and when you get into baking from scratch you really start to eat like a king.

Not him, but what's wrong with eating well? Where I live, if you take the money spent on a fast food dinner (~$10-$12) you could just about eat steak and lobster everyday. Now that's not anywhere close to healthy, but it proves a point. Also, women like a man that can cook, especially when you make a meal for them. Its a hell of a lot cheaper, too.

Kroger has prices close to that where I live once every once in a while. I buy in bulk, then spend a half hour or so trimming the chicken and wrapping it up individually for use until it goes on sale again.

I rubbed them with a 50/50 mix of Tony's and brown sugar and left them for 8 hours. Then I rinsed the excess off, patted them dry and smoked them with hickory. The salmon came out like hickory flavored butter. I also grilled the asparagus until al dente and served it up with some garlic hash browns.

It was pretty legit.

I'm not him, but a lot of places have chicken on weekly sale for 50 cents to a dollar. Usually they are legs or thighs with bones and skin on. I usually stock up on those and freeze them. Lasts a good while for me.

I recently moved, and I miss shopping at sprouts, becuase they use to have skinless boneless of almost every part on sale for a buck a pound. Not every week though, gotta stock up.
