>Exactly the barrel I need for my build
>Out of stock forever
Where the hell can I find a 20" ar barrel without m4 feedramps without spending a fortune? Is it even possible anymore?
>wanting non m4 feed ramp
>wanting 1-12
Please just explain. You can find a PSA 1-7 20" with m4 ramps for $150.00 plus upper kit for $30.00 and FSB for $20.00 at brownells
Like trying to buy a 2016 Mustang but you want carborated and no power locks

Looks like he's doing a retro m16 build

I get it but unless he has the money/resources to get these collecter/novelty parts he shouldnt worry about internals. The triangle heat guard and fixed handle are what he wants. Hes worried about using specifically outdated internals for no good reason.

The barrel is also important to the aesthetic, it needs to have a pencil barrel to look proper
The 1/12 thing is kind of dumb, mine has a 1/8

Green Mountain. Just got mine in the mail.

The 1/12 is not a requirement, but the upper I'm using doesn't have feed ramps cut in it, so I want a barrel that matches.

1/12 doesn't really matter, it just restricts you to 55gr bullets. Other than that it's just to satisfy your autism that it has that twist.
>>32714052
That shouldn't be an issue. It only becomes and issue when you have an m4 upper and a rifle barrel

Let me rephrase, the barrel profile is important to the aesthetic
I left out a key word there
>>32714072
I'm not bashing you, the GM 20" I got has a 1/12. I want the "it ain't me" experience as best as I can get it.
I'm pretty sure that brownell is using all of their parts to put together their own guns right now. Once those have come to the market, I'm sure individual parts will be available to purchase separately again.
Brownells is really pushing gun sales ever since they opened up their retail location.

they did at least at some points manufacture contract barrels for colt so there's that too if you're worried about being as historically accurate as possible, although i'm not aware of exactly when/for what those periods were
