Fellow /K/unts, I have found a 4ga shotgun for sale. It has 40" barrel, 12 3/4" stock and weighs in at nearly 13lbs.
Talk me out of buying it to remove, well pretty much anything.

Related to the pic, how does that happen? I reckon those 2 chambers went off at once, but how? That shit should only happen to percussion revolvers.
But it and remove honk by the dozens
>>32705300
don't forget to leave some space between the butt and your shoulder so the weapon has time to decelerate before reaching your arm
>>32705300
What year is it? Is it a damascus barrel? I had a sxs 4 gauge around the house as a kid, but we could never shoot it because muh damascus supposedly wasnt safe. Not sure how true that actually was but id say its worth a closer look.

>poor job done on basement reload

Not lying, that's the joke my dad played on me when I was 8 and shooting a 12 guage for the first time. That day I learned rifles are better than shotguns and to never trust my father again.

It's proved for black powder.. Admittedly, I know little about 4ga, except for they are basically shoulder fired artillery.
It's single shot, hammer strike made by Richards, an original that also has no serial number, being in the uk, that means no licence needed... Not that gaining one is a problem, though I imagine finding a safe tall enough to keep it in may be time consuming.

Massively hot load, makes wheel gat become glocknade.
>>32705393
Maybe a whole cylinder of hang fires?
>>32705484
Hell that just sounds interesting. Any pics? I'd go for it, but the safe thing would be an issue with a 53" OAL.
>>32705545
The only other problem is it will cost me £7750, though I imagine that turning up to shoot clays with it would make it instantly worth it
>>32705484
>basically shoulder fired artillery
4ga is almost 5 inches. That's fucking naval artillery.
Where do you even buy 4ga shells?
>>32705499
>Massively hot load
Tell me more..
>>32705300
Take it on a safari if you do buy the thing. Extra points if you wear Boer-War era British khakis and a pith helmet the entire time.
>>32705576
If thats it, and you have the money for that, jump on that shit like now. That stock is beautiful.
Side note, looks exactly like the one we had at home but ours had ugly ass furniture.
Also looked for some fuckhueg safes available in the UK, there are options but you could also store it broken down if you wanted, right?
>>32705659
Also pay for it in doubloons'?
>>32705699
Writing it broken down would be ok, though since it needs no licence, technically it needs no safe, so I could just hang it on the wall, but something tells me that will warrant a visit from my local constabulary followed up by me being the paper after they have decided to destroy my town to remove the mass murdering device on my wall
>>32705750
Storing it, not writing it.
>>32705750
Yeah im only vaguely familiar with gun laws in the UK but with a piece like that, costing that much, id rather be safe than raided.

1450mm overall height, should be a couple inches longer than your shoulder cannon.
>>32705599
>4ga is almost 5 inches
Lolwut? No. It's about 0.95 inches.
>>32707533
I think he meant length.

Sounds most likely.
