I personally own a DC-15A. I managed to get one that was produced for the Senate Commando's. It was never issued since the Senate Guard was replaced by the Red Guard.

The main difference between a normal DC-15A and mine is that ,since it was meant for the Senate commandoes, both lethal and stun settings are slightly more powerful. This does mean that the gun uses more gas and energy per shot.

The weapon is as solid as a bantha brick. The A280 is a blaster pistol with an elongated barrel.
No folding stock, very hard to use and hits like a jawa.

As far as accuracy rumors they came about during a time when some fuckhead officer was ordering his troopers to "give the appearance" of trying to stop them, while actually letting them go.

The really good Vibroblades tend to be at least 3500 coruscant years old.
I inherited one from my grandfather.
It was apparently a prototype from a small weapons smith on Taris bought by my ancestor.

This prototype is about 20 Alderaan CM long in its collapsed form. By pressing a switch the blade extends increasing the Swords overall length to 75 Alderaan CM. It has two small Vibro-Engines located in the grip along with a main Vibration Core that really boost the weapons cutting power.
I haven't identified its power source but it appears to be some kind of smaller and less powerful Diatium power cell.

I've got a couple of blasters left from my grandpa. The Empire says he did some important work for them in the day, and I've got legacy permissions to keep them as long as I do some tech work for them on the weekends. Fine by me, sometimes they let me in on some of the recruit training.

If it's an early model, the processor is onboard a capital ship that prolly got decommissioned or vaporized. It's an empty shell.

If it's more recent, it has a remote coprocessor onboard to defeat Republic droid jammers. It was designed to carry out its last known order. The power switch is on the back of the neck, but you need to actually dig the coprocessor out and fiddle-fart around with the switches on the chip itself; it's hidden in the heat sensors on the left foot. If you have a worksafe Holonet address I'll shoot you the schematic.

Once you accomplish all of this, you have amn obsolescent battledroid that doesn't have any of its old skill sets (which makes it legal as long as it doesn't pick up a weapon) and that can only carry out one order at a time. But it's still cool to have around for simple manual labor.

And Roger scared the pudu out of a couple burglars one time, which paid for him right there. I have a repro Trade Federation blaster strapped to his back for lulz, and the Rhodian gibmedats didn't know it was fake.
