Anyone been to Tuscarora gun club?
It's 7 minutes from my house and open wednesday afternoon, perfect for my scehdule. Shotgun only though

Also, if the slr-104 is approved, I wonder what other 5.45 AKs can be approved?
Cuz 1k for a slr is too much for me and I'm not interested in a heavy vepr.

Anyone else go to Hap Baker shooting range?

It wasn't bad but it was alway overflowing with fudds and the RCOs basically had to treat everyone like children due to all the autists coming in and doing stupid shit.

This sums up my experience there. I don't like Hap Baker at all because the acoustics of the facility amplify the noise.

And as great as it is to have a lot of new members of the firearms community, it has led to an increase in retards with no self-awareness coming in who are too numerous to vet.

Thanks. I'll look into it. I'll be honest, I just moved to the Baltimore area from Cecil County so I don't know shit about the ranges and gun stores near by.

Strictest carry laws.
May issue, a council, state wide, "good and substantial reason clause.
As well as a state issued ID to buy, sell, or rent a handgun.

Pretty strict. Left in an exemption for heavy barrel ARs. VZ 58s, C308s and 18inch Tavors are ok.
Some places sell VEPRs 'cause they aren't AKs, but most places won't.
MD state police just said that that one type of Arsenal is different enough from an AK because parts interchangability, so it's now legal too.
Also 5.56 AKs are legal.

You will have to register "assault weapons" and pistols.
Owning them and owning mags is ok though. But if you bring those guns in they must be registered (all pistols are registered).

Why wouldn't you go to school in pa? And it depends. If it's banned in Maryland and you bought it before the cut off date of Oct 1st 2013, then I believe you are ok. However, if you bought it afterwards, you can't bring it with you.

Would I still be bound by Maryland law when purchasing in state if I'm still a PA resident?
